Most guys who put up this questions forgets government policy and marginalization against the south east people.....other regions don't move out cos they have seaports, large markets and occupants paying rents for houses and lands, so where do you expect them to go...let me give you an instance in Rivers state, ikwerre land. Some parts depend on tenant rents and dnt bother to work.do you expect them to leave there region n house rents to come work for you in your region?
Is there any federal government presence in the south east? Do they have intl airport? Do they have seaport? Any good roads? Even the on going rail projects in the country did not pass tru there region? Then govt policy, how did ibeto cement folded? Despite having a huge market in the town, what is happening to onitsha seaport? Do you expect a youth that wants to survive to stay back here? He will definitely moved to where government have provided enabling environment.

1. Southwest:house's the sub-continental business hub there by enabling the neighboring state to fare well.
2.North:this are the people in power,so they tend to be a higher cash flow in the regoin.
3.middlebirth:this regoin play host to the nation's and E.C.O.W.A.S capital so they tend to be stable life there as compared to the other part.
