BIAFRAN WAR : RARE VIDEOS OF THE HORRORS by stieyven(op):
It has been six decades, even five , since independence and the last shot was fired which culminated into the rebirth of a new nation; yet the scares are yet conspicuous and still rankles.
An estimated 2 million odd lives were sacrificed on the altar of unity and territorial integrity preservation; that was in January 1970, yet in the year 2021, the sounds of the drums of wars are still heard across the length and breadth of our nation. The hallmarks and the prelude to a civil war are written all over the landscape of our political scenery.
But war is a phenomenon to be feared, a conundrum to be abhored. This video is a graphic reminder of that fact. Please use the link to view.
Viewer's discretion is strongly recommended.

Somehow, I can't shake the feeling that this is where we are headed again. Once more into the fray. Those who do not learn from history's mistakes are bound to repeat it. Of something like that. *Sigh*

There was a country

It was really terrible back then but I keep asking myself why are the easterners (knowing what they went through) still prefer to resurrect the Biafra agitations. Seeing things from their perspective could be instrumental in understanding the situation.

Btw It's not about MNK because there are also other groups agitating for Biafra.

This type of senseless war can't happen again,
Nigeria will break very easily because in a year or two, even the dumbest of the dumb will realize how self evident it is to break Nigeria!
The most foolish southern soldier will have seen he is a sacrifice to Bokoharam

Even the Fulanis are wondering why Hausa's have not started attacking southerners despite all the propaganda

Would exactly will fight Biafra alongside the government that is currently overseeing their massacre?
Fulani army?
Tinubu urchins?

That's because there's no justice, fairness and equity in this country.

I cannot believe someone is asking that question when the signs are glaringly obvious.

PS: Biafra agitation didn't start with Buhari; it preceded the clueless oldie.

The fact that the Igbos who went through these horrible atrocities still want to leave Nigeria tells you the level of failure that Nigeria is.

Nigeria is a failed European experiment.

What's the purpose of the thread? I mean what are we supposed to do with the videos?!
Re: BIAFRAN WAR : RARE VIDEOS OF THE HORRORS by goodnessme1(f):
Watch how foolish people that never witness war will start threatening those that have seen war, telling you how those that have seen war will never pray for war.

Not that they stand for justice and equity, but to put fear on the oppressed people.

Umu Ekwensu should know that we don't fear war, that we are peaceful people doesn't mean we will run away from it if you bring it no.

If my father can fight the war and come back,i can do the same.

The main reason most of this Umu Ekwensu post videos and pictures of Biafra war is to put fear in us.
Not knowing it only makes us hate zoo more and determin to leave it.

War is not good. But it sometimes becomes ineluctable and ineludible.
We pray it doesn't get to this point.

if there's any like justice and equal representation, there'll be nothing like resurrecting the Biafran struggle.
