After three trials I decide to use the "Forgot Password" option ( I must have forgotten the password I thought to myself ) I was asked to input the email address I had used to open the Kuda Bank Account which I did and it said they would send me a "password reset link" to my email. At least from their I can change my password and regain access to my account. The email never came! Its been over 2weeks now !

Not a day passes that I don't try to log into my account or do the password reset! Till today no email and I still can't log in !

My landlord is on my neck! And I have eaten any good food !

Now these are the things I've discovered in the past weeks that has lead me to the conclusion that KUDA BANK is a Fraudulent Scheme!

1. Their customer care line 09032200350 rings endlessly without someone picking it up! What kind of legitimate business doesn't attend to its costumers and just let's their phones ring without ever answering it ? Please Nairalanders let us call that number until someone picks up!...

2. I have sent complaint emails detailing my predicament and for two weeks I haven't received a reply! Kuda bank being an "Online Bank" shouldn't have any problem replying emails from customers if they had nothing to hide!

3. I left a review on the KUDA BANK app on google play store . stating my challenges using the app and within a few minutes my review was deleted. Most definitely by KUDA BANK in a bid to get more people into their net !

Using Kuda Bank has turned out to be my worst decision in life and this scam couldn't have happened in a worse time !

Please you do not have to go through what I am going through! Be wise and DO NOT bank with KUDA BANK.

they are not scammers, cc the customer complaint department email from cbn while you email them next and also try contacting them via Twitter, it helps

I've been using Kuda for over a year now, and nothing has happened to my money. Even with the little issues sometimes, i get to chat with them and have it resolved

Kuda has been my number 1 bank, and infact it's still, have had issues with POS debit and I complained on their app and it was resolved, have never had any issues with them,my transactions are instant and the ones that didn't go will always be reversed instantly back to my account. infact I also did the forgot my password when I can't remember mine and I got a mail instantly. They are trust worthy. Actually all banks have their issues even UBA, Access, FirstBank, GTB and co. If I tellu watin GTB do me eh, up till date I can't advice my people to bank with them but that doesn't mean others are not enjoying their platform. Just send them a mail or go to their office and complain.
For me I have never experience any issue with them and am among their first customers.

Have you tried KongaPay?
I've been using their app for sometime now without issues so far.

I agree with u. Alot of people do that. Imagine someone inserted a sim card into Opay POS machine wrongly, and the thing they tell am say insert SIM card properly, instead of him to do that he went on opay POS WhatsApp platform to complain say the POS no good, I just shake my head begin laugh.

I just hope he comes back here to tell us if the issues has been resolved cause most won't.

I joined Kuda so as to get payooner funds, at the time CBN banned crypto transactions I was wondering why I wasn't able to make withdrawals.
I mailed them twice to know why I could no longer access my payoneer account from there, my thinking was the CBN crypto issue affected their payooner integration.
I got no response , I decided to call them out on twitter which I only do when I'm vexed this guy's still didn't reply and even in their DMS till 6 days later.

As for your problem I think you should check your end, if you've tried to recover password and they said a mail was sent ( have u checked your spam) just incase.
just try one more time to get them else you notify CBN via mail and copy Kuda.

I'm still using kuda for other transactions too and never had an issue except with their cards that they explain they're trying to fix

Currently experiencing the same situation, I thought I was the only one experiencing such.

A simple uninstall and reinstall would have helped you since this problem started after you reset your phone.

Don't be in a hurry to declare something a fruad or scam.

Kuda Bank claims to be licensed by CBN and Insured By NDIC I just check the list of MFB's insured by NDIC and our dear Kuda is not there oh. Go and check for yourself !

I ain't checking. It is open secret that such lists are not often upgraded by the silly government we have.

If Kuda is a fraud as you are alleging, how come every bank app has them listed as a bank you can transfer to? How come I can transfer via other bank apps directly to my Kuda bank account?

Is it that all banks in Nigeria are involved in what you claim to be fraud or that all Nigerian banks know that Kuda is very legit?

Having gone through his write-up and seeing his plight, what else do you advise him to do? Also go through all the processes he had undertaken, or are you insinuating he should be more patient with the nonresponsive Kuda?

The Kuda has given him a whole lot of heartache and psychological trauma. Every day we hear of pseudo financial institutions scamming people of their hard earned money in Nigeria, with that in mind how do you expect the young man to relax, after two weeks?

Let's be empathic, and not rise to defend improper actions by financial institutions.

Paycom (Opay) is not under MFB insured by NDIC. i am really surprised that such a company is not there. Is it not supposed to be compulsory?

Why can't you tag them along with CBN and EFCC on twitter?

KUDA is a full-fledged online bank. They are duly recognised by CBN hence other banks list them on their apps etc. However, it appears they have issues with customer service although, as a user, I receive messages and updates from them regularly. My ATM card was delivered to me seamlessly even with a tracking number. OP sorry for your predicament. I suggest you follow some of the suggestions here; try to contact them via your regular browser instead of from the mobile app.

The guy is not wrong for calling them out.He has tried his best to communicate with them before coming here.How will kuda not have a functional avenue to resolve issues.Open account with a commercial bank that is accessible to you.
