YORUBA OBAS MUST COME TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE YORUBA AGENDAS
It is expedient to speak the truth to all Yoruba obas about the situation in Yoruba land which is threatening the unity of Yoruba people both at home and in the diaspora . The situation is getting worse to the level of our youths attacking some traditional rulers and using abusive language on our rulers which is a taboo and alien to our traditions.
I can’t keep silence in a time like this that center can not hold again and posterity will not favor me if I did not give my support to making sure that Yoruba agendas are achievable.
There is need for our rulers in Yoruba land to have a conference and come out with a resolution on how to stop invsion, kidnappings, rapings and open grazing in Yoruba land
The issue of Oodua Republic should be considered and deliberated upon and come up with a position that will put rest on either to continue with the agitation for the Oodua nation or focus on another
preferred agenda.
Our OBAS remained silent and some openly attack the project of Oodua nation and made us a laughingstock in the comity of nations. Let us speak with one voice at least for this purpose.
When some people are trying to send herdsmen that are destroying our farms and rapping our women
away from our land yet some Obas still busy giving them lands and chieftaincy titles. How many Yoruba indigine can get such land in the north
Yoruba Obas have lost their power and authority in the present Nigeria. The meaning of “ ijoba “ is the congregation of Obas but the present Nigeria have no space for Yoruba Obas and we are not bothered, it is high time we come together and reason together before the situation get out of hand when we will not be able to control our children.
In a situation where a Yoruba oba will openly declared he was installed by a governor and not by Ifa divination, what do you expect of that king? I appealed to all Obas to please guide and guard our youths and support them. The agitators of Yoruba nation are tired of the present Nigeria and they need our support to achieve this but if the Obas have any other way to achieve peace and stability in our land, let’s call them and explain to them instead of keeping silence or attacking them unnecessarily.
Let us come back to traditions and make enquiries on what to do and make necessary sacrifices because we cannot continue like this.
I am the convener of KIRIJI HERITAGE DEFENDERS
mainly to protect Yoruba territorial borders from strange invaders. We have rescued many from kidnappers in our forests like Imesi- ile, Ibokun in Osun state. We went further to repair the damaged portion of the road between Otan ile and Imesi ile which is the black spot of the hoodlums.
Why are we interested in Yoruba affairs? I am from a place where the longest Yoruba civil war was fought for 16years and later settled by the British and peace treaty was signed by about 126 Obas at Imesi ile. This peace must be maintained and protected across Yoruba land. The sacrifices of our forefathers must not be in vain.

Yorubaland is like Cananland flowing with milk and honey which several interests don't want liberated. We understand that SW is blessed by nature with access to sea unlike some landlocked regions. We generate over 64% IGR for Nigeria far ahead of the "our oyel" region that generate little above 30% revenue.

Talk of Fintechs, MSMEs, Tech hubs and startups worth billions of dollars, they are all in South West. Honestly this generation of Yorubas need to wake up and unite, only then can we emancipate ourselves and make riches for our region and people within Nigeria or otherwise.

It is known as illiteracy the same way the hausa sold they're people is the same way yorubas are selling their people out. By time you put 1 million Naira money in their hands they will forget about Yoruba people. It is all illiteracy. If they cooperate, good. But we don't need them. It is like saying the Yoruba politicians must come together for Yoruba nation. It is also not realistic.

Nowadays, the Obas are just an extension of the politicians. Selfish and lacking integrity. They are also paid and under the instructions of the politicians. So, don't expect much from them.

But with God with the people, Oodua is certain.

We shall get there.

You need to understand that majority of those we ha e on the various sacred and ancient stools of our forefathers today are merely pretenders to the various thrones they occupy.

Of course with the exception of Olubadan of Ibadan.

Most of the others were appointed by politicians and not even the kingmakers.

See, in Yorubaland, if we want eku ko ke bi eku and eye ko ke bi eye, we have to do things the right and proper way

There's only one verified way we get our kings in Yorubaland.

That's through the Oracle.

If the Oracle hasn't picked you, then you're merely sitting there.

The Obas will always do the bidding of the politician that put them there.

But a king appointed by Ifa will be only responsible to Divinity while being responsible for his people.
