So I got the notification from emzor to com for test/interview today and as it stands now I need to make a decision now before monday next week.
SCHOOL
Renumeration: 30k/month but likely to be reduced if no means to meet up by the proprietor.

Promised to assist by paying a part of the rent close to the school. Though don't know his future plans if he will attach people to me.

Working duration/day: 7:15a.m - 3 pm. Saturdays and Sundays are mine though writing of lesson note would cut a reasonable chunk of it.

Already informed the proprietor about NPower application and pending deployment so I would take permission to attend to that when it starts.

*Downside*
Renumeration isn't constant as I'm made to understand.

Writing of lesson notes for 9 classes (Mathematics: jss1-ss3, physics: ss1-ss3) is somehow mentally draining.
Tfare: ₦440/day

Wouldn't want to stay in my parents house at this age and because of the situation of things interms of cost of living. I would obviously leave with them till June ends before I can move into my new apartment.

*Factory work (emzor)*
Passed their interview and test today and high probability of getting an invite for training on Monday as we were informed by the interviewer.

Renumeration: basically 30k excluding O.T, health insurance and other benefits.
Working duration: 8a.m - 5pm( morning shift). Same hours for night shift.

Tfare: ₦400/day.
Weekends are off and can be used for O.T at your own discretion.

Please I really need your advice on this and your constructive criticisms are welcome. Thank.
I will appreciate it more if this isoved to front page please it's urgent. Help a brother with your candid advice.

Both are private sectors where they will use the hell out of you and pay less. However, do more research on the working conditions at both placements and go for the one that will give you more spare time for side hustle and opportunity to go for better job interviews when necessary. Apparently, none of the salaries can get you a comfortable life. You need a side hustle
If you are academically sound and smart, teaching will give you an opportunity to earn more via private coaching, that's a side hustle. However, a 30k paying factor work is a pure labourer work. It will drain you completely, bastardize your morale and tie your survival to the job.

Please I know the school job might be hectic.. But stick with it..

That emzor factory job won't give u time for your Npower ish or so..
Like you said, you are a science teacher, you can organise two hour extra lessons for interested pupil after school close.. You go home by 5pm.. Let me say each student pay 5k for lesson, you gather at least 10 student.. You have extra fifty thousand or so..
Well, follow your heart.
Need a side income,
visit my signature... You will thank me latter

By the time you grow old and realise you have wasted precious time with factory work, you brain would have Emptied.

Teaching pupils will keep your brain and build up your brain faculty while you think of next move for your life.

You cant dress anyhow to private school but factory work, anything goes.

Factory work will be better

You have N50 reduction on Tfare grin
At the end of the month, it will cater for Data subscription.

Teaching hardly comes with promotion and l think you can easily get that in the factory with right qualifications.

Health wise, teaching is draining. I have been there. Even the weekend isn't yours. So, factory job gives you your weekend grooves. Me wey like football grin

Your weekend can be used for side hustle too

If you are not the too physical strength type, abeg de teach before you collapse for factory grin

pick Emzor. Most private schools are just for people who want to live a life of servitude, with poor salary and no hope for growth

as a physics and maths teacher you are a core science teacher. You can make more from extra lessons, private lessons, etc.

Go to Emzor. Teachers are used like slaves by proprietors.

You know best, you just need public opinion to support your choice.

But seems to me that school is using you as much as the factory will.

That weekend you’re using to write 9 lesson note can be used for other hustle if you accepts the emzor work.

If you are good in teaching...

And verse taking physics and maths as stated by you...

You won't come here for public opinions....

Home lessons alone will make it rain at least for now.

Teaching two core subjects and preparing lesson notes for 9 classes for 30k only. That's too stressly. I taught one subjects to three classes in a school last term and I experienced lots of headache. After their exams, I left the school and invested my savings (N45,000) in crypto. I have made over 20k so far. If I had invested in crypto (safemoon) 2 months ago, I would have made over N250,000 in profit.

My advice to you is to choose any of the job, save a lot of money and invest in crypto. If you have 10k cash now, you can buy SAFEMOON. It is very cheap now is currently trending on twitter, Reddit and Facebook.

Going to school, getting good grades and a nice job is no longer tenable in 21st century. I wish you the best!

Emzor.. private school go drain you.. I teach 3 subject, JS1 to JS3. I made it know to the proprietor taht I can only write just one subject lesson note. Nobody can kill me cos of 20k.. sometimes, all what this proprietors need is someone to say things to there face and if the don't comply, leave.
