There are real bloggers making their living off adsense here on nairaland. Believe me
I was the one who created the thread which this is a rejoinder to, in other words it is i who this response thread is intended for. Thanks for the extensive reply and rejoinder. May I ask, please can I have your blog URL? I’ll like to visit it and perhaps you can earn from my clicks on your website. Thanks, hopefully we can be of advantage to each other as I have some honest questions to ask. For instance, can I have someone to create a blog for me then i blog on my iPhone 7 ? A laptop is a little expensive for me to buy now so I want to know if I can operate the blog with my phone efficiently? Also, I’ll really like to have a link to this your blog where you earn so much from please.

Thanks

You can start with your iPhone. But designing the blog and other things will need a laptop.

Clicking on ads intentionally is bad, those who click should have genuine reason to click on ads.
If you have a blog please don't ask friends to do that else every reasonable CPC ads company will show you the exit door.

you can blog on your phone. There are many Web developers here on nairaland so contact them. Am not a Web developer.

I am contracting the blog design and hosting and everything to a web developer. So, that handles the blog designing abi?

I didn’t mean ad, I just meant your website address.

Why should I give you my websites address?

Do you know how long and how many millions I have poured into it in terms of contents? Do you want my investment gone down the drain? Do you want someone to just go there and copy my keywords and dilute all my sweat n blood?

Or don't you know this is a public forum. Seun can tell you how much he earns because it's difficult for you to do a photocopy of his forum which has been existing for over 20 years with millions of content . But not a 2 years blog with just 130 blog posts

If you know simple WordPress installation and how to install themes, plugins, etc then you can do that your self. Because I do all my self. Refer to YouTube many videos are there.

just to see the design, how you run your back links, infact, what you do uniquely that fetches you that large range of money. I’m not a hacker please. And trust me my niche is space science so I am not your competitor in the same field.

If I share any url here see what we happen.
There are expert here who have more powerful blogs in terms of back links, ranking etc they will go there, use seo tools like moz, ahrefs etc to scrap the best keywords and rewrite better outstanding blog post n in 6 months my ranking will drop.

Secondly there are copy n paste who just go there n copy n paste.

Thirdly there those who will go there to click ads.

Is it wrong for the blog owner to always visit the site pages to ensure all is well, but not clicking adverts?

What are the common mistakes new bloggers make or that you also made in the past?

I visit my blog all the time checking one or two. So nothing is bad there except you are clicking on ads.

Thanks for responding fast.
Can same ad unit be used on different pages or each ad unit should be unique for each page or ad space?
Why are some ads not showing on the header in some pages/posts?

I use WordPress, so a plugin ( ads inserter) does the placement. It has a box where you insert the code and assign where it should display (heading, above or below the content or paragraph)

For sellers information visibility on Adsense account.

Confidentially or transparency.

Which is better?
Thanks.

I have an affiliate blog..can you recommend an expert in SEO or in other fields that helped you in your blog since you chose to remain anonymous please

I don't do affiliate blog post rather I do informational content that is monitized via CPC ads like adsense

Get a niche to blog on. Then write good n better post, you can hire content writer or do it yourself.

Remember that this content should be the best on the net, on the other hand you should not go and be dragging keywords rather concentrate on keywords that have not been fully discussed or covered. You can ask for example I can give

You can later build links... Not useless links but links from your niche. This cost from 50$ to 100$ pet link. Type "how to build links" on Google via guest post and outreach.

But please concentrate on contents first, quality content. This should be well covered 800 words length upwards.
Remember that it takes 7 to 24 months to see visible traffics as far as this is new blog.

I don't know any SEO expert. The above is what I do

When you sign in on your Google Adsense account.

Under settings section
There is seller's information visibility.

Confidentially or transparency...which did you select and why?

You no serious. Why asking question if you can't post screenshot for clarity? You are telling him to go to his own account undecided

He is not the one who asked the question. He was just explaining the question to the OP. And the OP should understand what the question is talking about if he uses adsense as he claims because he would have done it on his own account

It's the same guy who asked the question.

Please be inform that Adsense policy & settings do change over time. It's been long I applied and they got my account approved.
Apart from checking earnings, trends and statical performances I have nothing to check again.

If he is serious then he should post a screenshot

I did not claim I only stated the truth from my heart as to alert the youth that we can truly earn and live the better life we have imagined genuinely through blogging, Vlog, apps and other online real business that we often neglect.

The Naira and the economy is really bad and most youth turn to crime while some are being killed in search of job.

I had thought with this post we Nigerians will join the race compete with counterparts in India, Pakistan, Vietnam and other Asians countries who are doing wonderfully well in the tech world.

But response like this is not encouraging honestly.
