I used to wonder why many Kanuris and Northerners have this sympathy for Boko Haram even with all their glaring atrocities

Then came ESN who are Unknown Gunmen, the rate at which Ipobians defend them, and excuse their unprovoked murder and chaos, blaming Fulani, DSS, Tinubu, Afonja ... I knew something was fundamentaly wrong with Africans and bigotry , sentiments and dogma

ESN is simply what you get when a government is seen to be partial in metting out justice.
The fulani from all over africa are now in nigeria killing, kidnapping, raping and taking over communities and the government has appeared to support them.
then other groups also sensed that this is very weak and docile government busy stealing money and displaying brazen nepotism while destroying the economy with useless, ill thought out policies.
The appointments into this government is done on the basis of tribal and religious affiliation and never competence and track record. little wonder mediocrity is the order of the day with the executive council and head of parastatals lacking any initiative and ideas just looting money and buying up Dubai.
This nepotism and injustice caused disgruntlement and has made the government unable to act decisively because they have no moral rights.
so BH, ESN, and many other yet to be born armed groups will continue to flourish in an atmosphere of lies, incompetence, favoritism and corruption for which this regime has set an all time highest record.
there is nowhere in Nigeria where you can travel upto 10km by road and feel safe.
Yet, the president is an ex general and deserate to come and 'fix' nigeria.
There is a new sheriff in town!

Supporting terrorism is foolishness, when war looms, it won't spare your household. They are other ways to agitate for independence than attacking government security outfits and Police. I can promise you guys that this way, nothing will come out of it.

I really question the IQ of people on this platform.... the sentiments, hatred, nonchalant, lack of foresight... blame game is just too much. Too much division, envy and jealousy reigns in this country, that's why it cannot progress.
P.S: Only fools say what they know nothing about. If you must talk about whatsoever that can affect your neighbor, ensure you have facts. This goes to the admin of this platform too. As I've observed you're far from neutral.

Injustice to one is Injustice to all.

Anyway, like I said earlier, they should keep the violence squarely in their region.

"attacked by hoodlums who came in a hummer bus,
2 Sienna mini vans and 3 motorcycles." Similar to how Boko Haram terrorists use Hilux pickups and motorcycles to perpetrate their attacks. Kudos Eboes, you're also getting there. You people need to prove to Buhari and Boko Haram that you can also destroy lives and properties.

Let's be more observant.
No state is safe
Killing, shooting is now everywhere
Betrayers and backbiters everywhere

'UNKNOWN GUNMEN" this is actually how it started in Northern part Maiduguri to be precisely before it got it's own name BOKO HARAM.
Time is really running out and the best solution to stop all this is somehow simple that is to DIVIDE THIS GREAT NATION CALLED COUNTRY.
The earlier the better

ISWAP and Boko Haram are attacking security outfits in the east and south south with the hope of facilitating their movements into these areas.
Government of Nigeria unleashed a swarm of online commentators to say that IPOB’s ESN are responsible for the attacks.
