Express Entry draws are likely to be held on the 12th of May. Any hope for FSW? Or should we forget it for this year? What's the coronavirus situation like in Canada? Any news to encourage people!!!

It's really hard to say if FSW draws will happen this month. Covid isn't easing up here at all. In fact, it seems the cases are rising and more lockdown is being enforced. Also with the new temporary pathways IRCC is introducing, their focus for now may just be on people already in Canada.

I low-key think FSW will be back around July/August though. At least by that time, a lot of people would have gotten vaccinated.

Try NOC 6551 and 6314, I am not sure.
How can AFL/CMT be the two NOCs you mentioned cheesy cheesy. Those are customer service NOCs

@Itunumore1 check 1114

That is why I wrote that I am not sure and she should check those. I think 1114 fits the job description more, however, she should check to make sure.

I worked in my dad hotel as his account manager, for 2 years and I used it as work experience, infact mine was more difficult because I was paid in cash, I indicated it by stating it on my reference letter and by using a cash salary certificate. I already have my COPR... as long as its genuine, dont let anyone downplay you.
Are you in Canada now

Please i need help to pay for my Ican Subscription and transcript (Both for ATS). Paydirect is down at the moment as i have been to the bank severally. I have other options for subscription but i gathered fro a staff (ICAN) that transcript processing fee has to be Paydirect but I have limited time left.

Check 1114 and see if your JD matches the ones under the NOC.

Each bank has their own format, some can display the balance while others don't. I know GTBank does not display your balance. It is not a statement of account, it is a different document stating that you maintain an account with them, are in good standing, have no debt etc.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate

Use 1122 or 1114, under 1114 look at Financial investigators, you’ll have to sit down analyze both and re-write your JD to match at least 70% of the functions on whichever you choose. I know people that have gone with 1114 and others with 1122 for the same role.

You’re making sense. I’ve monitored covid numbers in Canada and the only thing that has gotten better is mortality rate (A lot of people aren’t dying anymore as such) but thousands are still testing positive daily and until these numbers nose dive there won’t be any draw, so fingers crossed sha.

I think its better to monitor the vaccination drive than infection rates. There's talk about every adult in canada having at least a first vaccine dose by July. If that's the case then they will definitely start easing restrictions like America and the UK have done and probably resume the FSW draws by July or August. Fingers crossed.

Hi house,

I am yet to enter the pool, but trying to go through all requirements lest I embark on a mission I can't finish.

I was going through the MPNP requirements and scoring criteria online, then I stumbled into this nebulous phrase carrying 50marks: "Immigration destination in Manitoba is outside of Winnipeg"

What does this mean? I have searched online to no avail to unravel the meaning. How can I possibly know my Immigration destination when I am not in Manitoba yet?

You can also pay on Quickteller by using your membership number. It's effective.

Also, you can go to their office to make the payment or send someone to do on your behalf. But call to find out if ICAN offices are now opened (Covid restriction).

depends where your relative stays. Either Winnipeg or outside Winnipeg. If you dont have relative there you wont be able to get enough points for an invite.

There is not cut-off mark for permanent residence, but there is cut-off point for Express Entry draws.

The cut-off point is determined by IRCC using numerous factors. They will tell you 6666 is enough to create profile, but you will forever remain in the pool if you use such score except you go through Provincial Nomination.

So as of today, the cut-off point is unknown but predictions put it at 468+ if draws are done fortnightly for 2-3 months.

Good morning from the table of Ontario PM

Let's keep praying for Canada to overcome and Vaccinate most Citizen.

Also, keep your Covid-19 vaccination card very well. Will surely be a requirement.

Please, if one open a new bank account strictly for POF for the application which is not up to 6months, will there be any issue?

Please can someone here help with how I can send dollars through Western Union transfer. I need to pay a publication fee and I can't seem to figure out how to go about it.

I need to pay $200. First I was given an Ecobank Rwanda account but Ecobank Nigeria says they can't do a transfer to the account.

Next, they gave me a Western Union code to pay into but the banks I visited said they only receive Western Union transfers that they don't send out. I have the money in USD.

Please someone help before these people think I don't want to pay.

Thank you.
