The narrative of putting Buhari at the epicentre of Nigeria woes is a conspiratorial attempt to hoodwink Nigerian and relaunch another wicked government to replace the current backward APC rather that suggesting an alternative way forward. This is wicked and inhuman. I believe we should deploy our experience to enlighten a generation rather than misinforming them. Nigeria has been plagued by a bad system led by selfish, vision less and greedy leader. The democratic regime Buhari of Shagari that Buhari toppled was legendary in corruption and wastefulness. Nigeria was drifting rapidly into economic collapse owing to the financial recklessness of the administration. The then minister of finance, Umaru Dikko monumentally stole to the point that when the succeeding Military regime of Buhari and Idiagbon attempted to repatriate the stolen wealth, the British government refused claiming the release of such wealth will have a damning consequences on their banking system. The Buhari regime was guilty of imposing austerity measure on Nigeria sighting an attempt to cushion the effect of the previous maladministration but that doesn't justify denial of the atrocity of past leaders.

Evil was removed from Nigeria in 1985, then Babangida and subsequently Abacha followed. Do you any idea of the trajectory Nigeria took afterward. Are you aware Babangida contributed to the proliferation of both official and individual corruption that has held Nigeria in manacle ever since, ruining public institutions and wrecking the nation's international reputation? Are you aware of the level of human right violation perpetrated by Abacha.? Do you know how Abacha converted the gain of oil boom to his personal wealth? Come on, young man. Do you know that Babangida ushered in the total neglect of public education system, even to the basic level? How he allowed secondary teacher to go on months of strike over unpaid salary, something that lasted for over close to four years?
