If you're a lady who isn't all about ZeeWorld, Nollywood and Social Media but who...

...is a book reader.
...Enjoys intelligent discussions.
...Is ideacentric, broad-minded.
...can be innovative, and exploratory.
...appreciate emo/rock music
...creative/artistic.
...isn't materialistic.

Most importantly....isn't religious. Be she an unbeliever but open-minded or even an atheist.

Hit me up.

R u sure u know EMO Rock music?
They're the type white junkies listen to. They're demonic and extremely loud. Most times you can't catch the lyrics or sing along. Eg Devil wears prada, disturbed, as I lay dying, finger eleven...

I want to believe that I fit into the kind of lady you want, except for the music aspect, I love a wide range of music genre. Unfortunately, those items you listed up there are not the only criteria for accessing compatibility.

Wouldn't you take your advise if it were possible ?

The truth is... those features that makes the list of our choices are usually found mixed with other features which doesn't appeal to us but may be someone else's choices.

You would agree that as we grow older, we just have to make do with what's available provided he or she has at least some, if not all of those choices.

This bolded part is not good for ambition, but compromising will make him suffer more. Some people are ready to take a mile if given an inch.

It's like saying I enjoy driving Volvo cars, it doesn't mean I can't drive others. Ofcourse I listen to most genres too, Tecno, Rave, Grunge, RnB, Adult Contemporary like Brian McKnight, Carl Thomas to certain oldies like Barry White and few I cant remember for now, to many down right home based genres like Apala, Sakara, Fuji to old school dub reggae to some good old Calabar/Ghanian hi-life and even some raw shaku-shaku trashy tracks, yes I know how to enjoy them all with those who , but my all time favourite that connect to the soul still remains emo/gothic/hard rock and some gangster rap tracks the likes of D-12, Eminem, Ice Cube and Fela Kuti.

The items listed sure are not the only criteria for accessing compatibility, and unless you were expecting me to state my favourite color and zodiac sign, you could have dropped your suggestion.

Noted, however, compatibility is not mostly derived from conversations but actions, when asked anyone may spell out a list of things they don't even do in the real world.

Moreover, your lady must not enjoy the kind of music you enjoy to be with you. By the way, what is it you need a lady with such specifications for?

And yet all actions begins with a conversation, at least some sort of it, unless except in cases where the other party has aquiesced to be taken for granted prior to the enaction.

That's anyone, I'm not anyone, I'm someone who knows what he desires.

In as much as that's true, would she feel irked if I, as a way of loosening up, chose to play the reverberate heavy sounding So Cold by Static-X on a Saturday morning I don't think that's how it works although some might argue to the contrary. Even partners and couples in the same line of work get along fine.

clumsydyna:

I'm not cool with the word 'specifications', that's a word much suited for inanimate things like a device or machinery which the female is not, I'd rather you used 'feature' or 'attributes'.

To me, I see it more like a predispositions she could have, and if not, won't feel irked by, better if she doesn't feel bothered which can be mutually appealing, as would someone with a specific kind of kink Interlocks with a partner who's into that same kind of kink.

I'm a sucker for cats, and let's say she is only into dogs, it can still work,

I don't like animes and soap-drama and those two are exactly what believes the TV was created for, we can still work,

I can cook, but let's say she doesn't know how or lacks, it could still work.

But you see those I listed....ha! o gbọdọ tàbí diẹ ninu rẹ.

Speaking of cooking sef, I'll see if I can still find a pic of a fine ọbẹ I cooked few years back. Haven't had the chance or opportunity to ever since bit e still dey body.

It's funny how you decided to respond to every line of my message, I am sure that you were tempted to respond word for word shocked.

I am glad to know that you know exactly what you desire but, in life you may not get everything as desired because life itself is not balance.

People ought to understand that we are all different and that is what makes us unique, understanding this is key .

Talking of food, a food might look good but taste bad anyway but, why haven't you cooked for a while now?

I love dogs, been wanting to try cats.

I used the word specification just to spite you and I got just what I wanted grin "somebody cannot play with you, is that how you use to do?".

Lastly, I enjoy Emo/Rock music plus, I grew up listening and making rap songs.

Life is balance, relatively speaking, it's in a 5th world country like Nigeria such statement appears to hold sway.

clumsydyna:

Ofcourse that's pretty much known but you seem to have misunderstood me. I'm not seeking for an opposite sex that totally reflects me. That would be foolhardy to embark on, but a lady whose taste and predilections completes mine and whose action complements me, just as I, hers'

See, what's important to me, is a no-negative female that brings peace of mind. Not one unduly attitudinal, antagonistic, self-entitled, emotionally-toxic, boring, bland, materialistic, mundane, unoriginal, egocentric and insolent drama queen, or those phlegmatic bimbos of the stolid type who can't do without having her screws loose at every unreasonable second.

That "key" you called understanding is something I very much have an abundance of, but Nigerians tend to mistaken it for gullibility.

clumsydyna:
Talking of food, a food might look good but taste bad anyway but, why haven't you cooked for a while now?
Yes, but my ọbẹ usually have this "ask for more" taste in quality. I hope my partner knows how to cook better than I am because I can't cook everyone food which I wish to know how. I'm unable to cook for a while now due to where I am currently wherein lacks the opportunity.

clumsydyna:
I love dogs, been wanting to try cats
Truth is I don't like dogs, though I can tolerate them but you see cat ehn! They are just too hilarious, relatable and usually cute to adore. Felines are far more interesting than Canines, and also hygenically cleaner.

clumsydyna:

Lol! I'd rather you not spite me with a PlayStation-5, the specification is worth breaking the bank for.

clumsydyna:

So glad to know, I hope the aspect of rap musicals you like the rhymings, it takes lot of creativity to come up with sensible ones. What band/artists makes up your list of emo/rock. And are you Yorùbá and a Lagosian?

Can't remember? I can't help but to wonder if that why you picked 'clumsy' (lol), as for not been a Yorùbá...I dont mind, I just wanted to know. I don't discriminate.

If I may ask, do you fully (or somewhat) subscribe to the Horoscopic reading that specific signs of the zodiac has bearing on our personality, fate and morals as are influenced by each human born under a month specific to a zodiac sign.

If by any chance, you have listened to 'In The End (Mellen Gi remix) ft. Fleurie' how does it make you feel ? Do you accept that guys want love if it's torture as resounded in Blank Space ?

And finally, though I agree money is not just important, but very very important (particularly in Nigeria), to be honest what percentage would you ascribe to the importance of money as the major contributing factor for even the truest of relationship founded on genuineness in order for it to last the test of time?
10%?
30%?
40%?
100%?

Yeah, can't remember, my clumsiness has an origin.

I enjoy looking into the horoscope, I am Gemini and have recently picked serious interest in it as it somewhat reflects my personality.

That was a cool song and it immediately reminded me of Linkin park's version years ago, I enjoyed it especially listening to the lyrics of the song. As for if guys want love if it is torture as Taylor Swift tried to say in her song well, I wish I knew the heart of men, I am only a woman.

If you ask me I would say 100%, you would be frustrated in a relationship without money, money beautifies any relationship and helps you express how you feel.

I've been terribly under the weather battling serious malaria-fever. I'm just using agidi-okunrin to do things when I should be resting.

TORTUOUS LOVE
You wish you knew the heart of men! well...I wish I can read the thoughts and mind of not just women, but humans. Unfortunately there is no juju nor any means to acquire or develop telepathic ability.

EMO/GOTH/HARD-ROCK MUSIC
Hell yeah you're right, it was reminds one of the original track titled 'In The End' by Linkin Park from their very first album called Hybrid Theory and a slurry remix of the same track on their second album named 'ReAnimation' titled 'Enth E Nd'. That original one it reminded you of was a banger back then, this Mellen Gi remix version featuring Fleurie is the most beautiful female rendition of an Alt. Rock-Rap music I've ever heard in my life, it has the power to pacify a troubled soul. Only that, I got to notice that some TikTok and Instagram users kept using it as their background music in all manners of videos, whether it befits or not. Kinda makes me sick.

ZODIAC
In as much as I'm a deeply rational entity I can't help but to agree with you that those horoscopic revelation usually tend to be true and near accurate, I fall under Cancer, the reason why I asked you is because there are those who just go on to check their zodiac compatibility and I am always like WTF! because it has long been disregarded as fringe-science in the scientific world favored by charlatans who clinging on to the pseudo-science remnant of Astrology! NB: Astronomy (scientific) was derived from astrology (junk/trashed science) in the same vein Alchemy (pseudoscience) beget Chemistry (scientific). So I ask, would you consider zodiac compatibility before dipping your toe in a promising relationship ?

MONIKER PREFIX ORIGIN
Could your clumsiness have anything to do with not getting right when painting your nails yourself or finding it hard to navigate your way to the treasure trove during a wallet-rape session (lol)? If I guessed wrong, I wouldn't mind knowing if you don't mind telling.

MONEY IN RELATIONSHIP
I agree, but weren't there true love and the expression of it in the ancient world were money was never in existence ? Anyways, for the same reason money helps to define the expression of real love from one love-bird to another, same money has proved itself to play a major role in the corrupting and destruction of relationships, and I don't lack of, I mean both in adequate and ample amount of, so I will pick 50% and leave room for others to share the remaining 50% in regards to factors like...always been there, achieving together, loyalty, faithfulness, bla bla bla... the kind of love that would make a Tom Cruise to risk it all just to save his wife in Mission:Impossible 3. He understood his wife 100% so much that he could read her lips from afar, and I suppose his wife knew the things he fell in love with her hubby for. Yoruba proverb says "obinrin ti wan ba fi ijo fe, ijo ni wan ma fi gbe lo" which literally translate to "a wife who was swoon into marriage by the performance of a superb dancer would eventually be whisked away by another great dancer" so the 100% money thing kinda tend to crumble there if you can apply it as an analogy. Don't get me wrong, I understand that immense hardship and widespread poverty in the environs and of the mind, has eaten deep into the fabrics of our reality here, ceaselessly twisting the minds of the majority as intense love for materialism as replaced love for the immaterial, while Abrahamic religions continues to provide the avenues for most Nigerians to engage in debauchery, ignominy and hypocrisy. A lot of abnormality as become normalcy 'norms' permeating our once rich but now fallen society. Forgive my musing, all I'm trying to say is....it's hard to find realness in such a fallen society as ours, whether money is 100% injected into a relationship or not, note that I said "realness" instead of "true love" which is has gone into extinction long before the days of Secret of The Sand, it just took us a long time to notice.

Do you believe true love may still exist (hiding somewhere for bonafide true-lovers to find it) or it has never even existed (a pipe dream) ?

Good morning!

Haha! kilode? Y3mi it seems you like to write much, are you even sure you are down with malaria? Anyway, I hope you are taking the right medications for it, get well soon please.

I want to believe that some people do have the gift of telepathy.

Unfortunately, I am not on TikTok, twitter, facebook, snapchat etc, the Instagram I registered for years ago must miss me so much as I have not visited not performed any act therein. I can't keep up, with those mbok.

I don't consider compatibility via horoscope before venturing into a relationship.

To be candid with you, I don't know what the "wallet-rape" you mentioned here means, also don't know much about the slangs going about on social media platforms lately, and yes it's possible that I don't get it right painting my nails by myself due to my clumsiness but, yes I still try. I would not like to tell the origin of my clumsiness on this platform.

There was true love in the ancient times when money didn't exist, but what do you regard as money? They did have valuables that could have been exchanged for other needs, like animals, farm produce, gold etc.

I really did enjoy the secret of the sand that year, always kept us glued to the TV. Well your yoruba adage may not be just for dance alone, as the woman could also be swayed away by love etc by another man, only emotionally insecured people use that adage forgetting the fact that anyone could change his or her mind at anytime, given the circumstances. My opinion remains 100%.

Yes, true love does exist for those who would chose to acquire every other thing that comes, with it like, patience, tolerance, understanding etc.

Well, I like to think and type a lot on a norms, but I'm seriously 'Down With The Sickness' (a track by a hard-rock band called Disturbed used as the soundtrack for Queen of the Damned starring the late Aaliyah). Thing about me with malaria fever is sometimes if I fold up cringing on a spot for too long, the whole feverish thing tend to overwhelm me and grows stronger, but as I try to find one activity or another to do as I'm used to on a norms, I kinda fight it back. But this one stubborn oo! I'm told to get a drip.

As per that Yorùbá adage, the "dance" word was only used in a metaphorical sense, it can be interchanged with anything depending on the context of interpretation. The point is "if you use money marry wife, na another money bag wey get money pass you go steal her go" just like it could be anything. Love and relationship should go beyond money is all I'm saying. What about qualities that don't fade, like sense of humor, intellect, shrewdness, prudence, ability to invoke tranquility etc.

Do you agree that most of the relationships in the western world and arab world are not peculiarly based on money and like I said I get all your point, but I'm not in for the 100% thing, be it in Nigeria or anywhere, why should money be the overall reason why we are in a true and loving relationship, what if something unexpected happened (like a bad investments) along the line and all the money vanished, the woman/lady/spouse/girlfriend would definitely go.

I'm guessing you understand Yorùbá and possibly a speaker too. I'll respond to your other comments later on, I just have to go and find a way to sleep.

Well, I like to think and type a lot on a norms, but I'm seriously 'Down With The Sickness' (a track by a hard-rock band called Disturbed used as the soundtrack for Queen of the Damned starring the late Aaliyah). No I'm not. I thought I was. Honestly, I dont know if I'm hailing or dying. The pain is something else. This is the toughest and longest malaria-fever illness I've ever battled. Taken both conventional and unorthodox medicine (drugs, injection, àgbò etc). The plasmodium has built up resistant. My temperature rises at night. I'm advised by a nurse to try and take drip just to flush them parasites out but I'm financially drained for now. Severe headaches, general weakness, shivering to the bones, sudden temperature rise at night coupled with the thought of the January loss of my father, my stolen 256GB iPhone weeks ago, I just come on Nairaland to clear my mind because I don't think a fine, decent guy like me deserve this torture. I never expected it would linger on this far, because I normally get better in a matter of days. All in all, you have no idea how kind of you to empathize . Appreciate your concern. I'll continue to stay positive and hopeful. I'll prevail and get back to you.

This is serious, I wish I could help, please try drinking lots of water it would help clear your system and help fight the illness. You will be fine, when did it start? Perhaps this could be the withdrawal period.

Please do accept my sympathy on the loss of your dad, i also think you are still in shock about the loss of your dad, I lost mine too last year February and the shock lasted for the whole of last year, I still miss him alot.

As for your iPhone, I feel sorry for your loss, I hope you don't have incriminating items in it, you know what I mean, I don't want to see you performing on xvideos or pornhub.

No one deserves to suffer at all, if I share what I go through you wouldn't believe it. Y3mi, i didn't know that you are fine and decent, now that you have stylishly said it, I would consider money as playing 10% role in relationships, na finess I go chop? tongue

Tell me what you want me to do so that you get well fast.

Please do take care of yourself, Las Las wa wa alright.
