Rangers Fc has lifted the Premiership title with an unbeaten record of playing 38 games with no loss and only 7 draws.

Steve Gerrard says that a potential unbeaten top-flight season is merely a "sideshow" for Rangers, and is focused on ensuring they use their squad to the fullest extent during the run-in of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Gers ended a decade-long wait for another Scottish Premiership title earlier this month after they deposed rivals Celtic to take the crown, with the pair playing out a 1-1 Old Firm derby encounter on Sunday.

While they exited the Europa League in midweek to Slavia Prague - amid a racism storm focused on Glen Kamara - they have not lost a single league match this term, a run that Gerrard says he would like to continue, but not at the expense of freezing players out of his side.

"It's a sideshow," the ex-England midfielder said in his post-match press duties. "The important thing for us to be ready for every game and try win as many as we can."The Scottish Cup is the priority because it's a chance to win another trophy. We'll give it all we've got in the remaining games to try stay unbeaten.

"It's not a priority because I need to use my squad. People are desperate for minutes and games."

congrats to them for such a superb record...they really tried this season knocking off celtic from the top and adding a lot of smiles to the faces of punters because they are always given fantastic odds n they always deliver all tru d season..
as for Stephen Gerard, pls just stay with them n gain more experience n respect before moving to a top club bcoz i think Liverpool or a smaller EPL club would come asking for ur services next season going by this ur prefect record as Chelsea did with lampard..
I think Gerard needs more experience with rangers to avoid flopping like lampard if he makes a big move, aferall xavi is still winning titles In Saudi n ignoring all barca request for him to join barca bcoz he knows he would surely coach barca wen d time is right..

no please...Liverpool should continue with klopp, he won the first EPL with reds after many years n also won the UCL just some season ago..
Gerard may flop with Liverpool bcoz of too much ego In d reds locker room, if klopp dts older n with more experience is still having issues with dt sallah n mane silent beef, I dnt see how Gerard would handle it better..

I salute this guy,by God's grace he will continue to remain consistent. I Just checked his point now and realised that this guy ended the season with a whopping 102 points,damn it's really a rare and uncommon performance.Thanks GERARD.
