Initially, this thread was about to make sense, but it later lost track of the sense. I read through it to pinpoint the particular changes that op meant, but I could not pinpoint anything apart from how "members should be banned and not be allowed to create multiple accounts".

Is it really possible to stop multiple accounts anywhere? I don't think so. People have multiple phones, multiple WiFi Connections, multiple IP addresses, etc.

Anyhow, I think Nairaland is cool. Members are still here over the years because it is cool. If you can't survive the comments on Nairaland and leave because of them, I wonder how you manage to survive the real Nigeria and the real world.

I agree with others asking for more measures.
Removing things that aren't right after they are posted is not a long-term solution.
Between posting and reporting and removal, hundreds would have consumed that information.
How this will be done I don't know, but it's worth looking into.

The only problem the powers here care about is pornography because it causes demonetization from Google. Any other issue is fair game, una go complain tire. The bet scammer has a field day every day, fraudsters have so much fun that I believe some mods are a part of the crime syndicate and abusive language is a given for almost any thread. The usual advice is for one to report and still I have done the action many times over with no solution. I can go back to threads as old as 2016 where I pressed report for comments, but the offending replies still remain; a full five years later.

Some times when I read old posts dated 10 to 12 years, I see mature, intelligent replies and conversation deviod of insult and tribal profiling. Then you tend to wonder what changed?. I strongly believe one reason majorly contributes to this appallingly situation.

Likes: the advent of likes or shares really poluted this space, don't get me wrong some of the liked comments are actually deserving but majority are hogwash, it have even generated to competition where the more inciteful and hateful comments you post, the more likes you get.
