Controversial Kaduna-based Islamic scholar, Ahmad Gumi, has disclosed why bandits are yet to release students of Greenfield University abducted about two months ago.

Gumi said the students have not been released due to the bandits link with Boko Haram.Bandits had attacked the private university based in Kaduna State on April 17 and abducted about 20 students.

While some of the students were released, the bandits had killed five. However, Gumi said Boko Haram has infiltrated the field of kidnapping.

Speaking with Channels Television, the cleric said: “The Greenfield abduction is unique because for the first time we saw a cooperation between some bandits and Boko Haram elements which confirm that Boko Haram are encroaching into the field, which is a bad situation.”

The controversial Islamic scholar said Boko Haram had reached out to the abductors of hundreds of students of Government Science College in Kankara, Katsina State, last year with an offer that the schoolboys be sold to them because they could bargain better for ransom.

Gumi said the bandits, however, rejected the offer and eventually released the students after negotiations.

How would sheikh Ahmed Gumi not be in the know as the PRO of Bandits/terrorists? Yet the DSS has never invited this man let alone arrest him with all these intels he has and connections to these treasonable elements?

Still reaffirming that Bandit = BH terrorists and vice versa.Yet a man like Sheikh Gumi is advocating govt support and cooperation with these wicked atrocious elements? Why is the DSS, NIA, Army, etc yet to get Gumi arrested?

Remember, the Buhari government is recycling these terrorists as repented, rehabilitated and deradicalized BH terrorists? Meaning the government of course knows but choose to hoodwinked gullible Nigerians by downplaying BH terrorists as bandits.

amazing.

So, truth is coming out gradually that Boko-haram is same as bandits.

Buhari, speak Fufude to your brothers and warn them in your local dialect.

This you must do.

Chai those students must have suffered a lot, we now have a lot of kidnapped victims in Nigeria. Anyways Osinbajo still sings hope to Nigerian, e go bata

Even if parents have the funds to send their kids to private university in Nigeria, their kids safety isn’t guarantee in Nigeria.

It's a no brainer..bokoharam are the same as bandits and fulani herdsmen..we don't need any intelligence or DSS to arrive at this speculation.. only persons without a thinking faculty will think otherwise..bandits and fulani herdsmen are just numerous ways of extending the hands of bokoharam to the middle belt and South..

The Nigerian government is trying so hard to not make the outside world think we are being ravaged by terrorism as a nation..but we all know..
