Good morning great minds.
Please is it still advisable to apply to schools for winter start date considering the suspension of visa application?

Bro why getting fear over 'racism'? like you have not build resistance on that, are you really in Nigeria? Haven't you been denied a job you qualified for in a multinational cooperation after series of examination both oral and written aspects of the interview based on name and skin colour?

For me I'm not afraid of that slur term 'racism' again, because' after experiencing it in my so called mother land why do I have to be afraid or get depressed because' of attitude of one 'mumu'?

Well I have already applied to Hochschule Karlsruhe and other unis across Germany.

Will urge you to start in earnest to build resistance and until then...

"IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the very high demand the consulate apologizes for not being able to offer more appointments for student visa applications for the summer semester 2021 as we are fully booked out."

Guess you got confused on the above quoted lines. Actually people still get AD and visa currently. I knew someone that applied on May 3rd and on May 5th his AD mail landed.

Bro no cause for alarm!!!

Hi German family, so happy for most international students here and really appreciate for their inputs. It's one of my dream to study outside nigeria. I have red and highlighted some major points but m thinking there might be some few changes now due to exchange rates and Covid 19. What's the current and requirements to study in German universities as an undergraduate? Like to apply and get admission, the best schools and affordable expenses, how to process the student visa, with or without IELTS? , The total cost I'll require to study??
My aspired course is Biomedical engineering or any medical related course.
I'll really appreciate if am giving a good response, thanks once again

Good evening big people.

Please I have a few questions. I'm preparing for my interview taking place at the end of the month.

Abeg for guys who have visited the embassy and done interviews. Are you to staple any documents or just organize with paper clips?
Also how did you attach the passport?

Idea of the exchange rate? Will the embassy use black market or official?

How does the prepaid envelope for posting the passport work too?

Thanks people, and I wish us all success in all our endeavors

Do not staple anything

I would advice you to take extra cash with you 50k-60k

How does the prepaid envelope for posting the passport work too?

Also for this, go to DHL and buy one. This is what would be used to send back your passport

Thanks people, and I wish us all success in all our endeavors

It says one passport should be attached to the form. It also says picture shouldn't be glued.
Also says not to staple anything.

That's the source of my confusion really.

Is your church permanent resident in Germany? Or a German citizen?
If yes, then it can, otherwise try a different country or read about Obligation Commitment for student visa in Germany.

Anyway, let others come.

Is it a must I must have English proficiency test

Which city in Germany I am more likely to get integrated and have a student job easily

And what are the chances I will be given visa considering the fact my Bsc. was gotten 6 years ago

I got a decision earlier in the year, and applied for Visa in march.

I'm pretty sure some applications are still open. Visa application is also always open

Do a school search on DAAD. Applications are still open in a lot of schools till July 15. Some schools start receiving applications June 1

Majority will close application by July 31.
There is much time to make enquiry on schools you have in mind pending if your docs are all ready.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Ministry of Education.
Or the Embassy of the country you’re going to.

Better you go to German embassy because' there are lots of protocols with ministry of foreign affairs and education...Don't be surprise you will spend the whole day trying to get your documents certify coupled with Naija way of doing things 'roja me level'.

At the German consulate you won't spend more than 30 minutes or they may even signal you to enter before the time they gave you.

Will urge you to go online and book certification appointment with them.
