Please share so that others and I can learn. Was it the same university that you applied to the first, second and third time when your visa got approved.
Please encourage us by sharing

Please what are the available dates in Abuja. Also is it advisable to choose Lagos for interview when your first visa was denied in Abuja? What are the chances of getting the visa accepted or denied again? Thank you.

Hello everyone.

I would be traveling to Lagos tomorrow, I’ve never been to Lagos. I am traveling from Abuja, what bus stop is better for me to stop, for example there is Abuja to Lagos-Ajah, Jibowu, Berger, Ojota etc. Also, what hotel is the cheapest and closest to the Embassy to lodge in?

You can stop at Ajah or Jibowu, either of these two but the later should be better. Then you can take uber to where you'll lodge.

Finally, we're at part 16!

Part 15 was as long as 2020 grin

To all visa/scholarship hopefuls, may you share your testimony in this thread. I've seen the power of resilience and grit firsthand and as the wind blows softly on this cold USA morning, I'm here to tell you that it will be worth it. Victor Hugo once said, “Nothing else in the world…not all the armies…is so powerful as an idea whose time has come.” Take the right steps, ask the vital questions, be optimistic, be pragmatic, be diligent and your time will come. I pray you will enter your season in this thread and as you do, may you go on to do great things!

In the words of one NL mama, May the Force be with you!

PS: Shoutout to Mummy Lagosismyhome for sowing a seed into my ministry, God bless you richly once again Ma'am.

There are hotels around but it depends on your preference.

*Demlis hotel can be found inside the Federal Civil service club and it's along Awolowo road. Just a few minutes walk(1km or less) from the Embassy or you find a means to get there.
Price range: 6-10k

*Bayland guest house is another hotel located at 54 Forsythe Street and less than 8 mins to US embassy.
Price range: 5-8k

Westwood Hotel Ikoyi located at Awolowo road too.
Price range: Unknown

Atlantic Hotel: Location is very close to USE
Less than 8 mins

Jibowu Or berger is preferable because Ajah is far oo!
You can take Uber to Obalende, there are affordable Hotels there and its closer to Water C.
My suggestion though.
