Barcelona is in terminal decline with the certainty of a Messi imminent retirement. Keeping him will not improve the fortunes of the team. The sooner they let him and his astronomical wages go the better their finances will be with which to rebuild.

Messi is no Suarez or Drogba. You cant just let him leave without adequate preparation. The team will suffer cos Messi alone brings more than just goals to their game. He dictates the play. He is the chief playmaker with key and deadly passes and then very decisive when it comes to goals. Can't you see how Barcelona began the season cos he didn't hit the ground running.

Barca should have let Messi go in January and cashout big time. use the money in buying new young talent. Now he'll have to leave for almost nothing. What a loss

He always quits when his team fails....very fake unmotivated leader... whr are those that always said he can't leave barca because of they treated him when he was a kid...the only reason he played this long was because of barcas success .... He ride on their success and now that the team is retrogressing , he quits as usual... same thing he does with Argentina... Juve might not qualify for CL despite Ronaldo hitting 29 league goals but he will not quit the team
