Go and research more about the history of the region called Palestine. There was no place called Palestine until Romans renamed judea, Samaria and Syria region Palestine. The region was conquered by the Arabs. Jerusalem was taken over by them and the Arabs moved in. Their descendants are the people calling themselves Palestinians today.
