So I decided to visit a friend and he took me to their Lodge.

students staying off campus feel big and pompous, but they don't know that they are been short changed for their money.

I mean, I observed soak away scattered every where!

There's a particular lane you'll walk across and can't find space to walk on bare ground. I mean, you'll have to step on soakaways before passing that street.

When I talked about my observations, the more shocked I became! I was told that there rooms in are some lodges sitting on soakaways.

Even some container shops on the streets stand on soakaways.

This is terrible, no planning, no value for human life. If someone mistakenly fall into one they'll start blaming the devil!

so sad!

The problem with erecting a building in nigeria is that town planners don't necessarily want to work in nigeria.. all they are after is settle them even if you want to build in the center of the road that one concern you and your neighborhood.

Come to North and see the perfect definition of "lack of town planning".
The south should be happy they got soakaway(s). Here in the North, sewage dump could pass through the front of your house directly or just the main road where people pass. Every sewage dump is linked to the gutter, a gutter that is even leading no where to start with. The longest gutter you will see isn't even up to 1km long and yet people link every shit to the gutter. This isn't a tribal jab, I have spent all my life in the north.

SUG Presidenst and other union leaders of such institutions are to be blamed. All they're after is their pockets not the safety and welfare of the Nigerian students.

The future is female crew. Where are you?

This is a disaster waiting to happen.
And the bad thing is that, they won't just die like that alone, they will first of all eat some rotten poo to the fullest before giving up the ghost!!

Where is the location of your friend's school and the name of the places you visited,
Let some of us @MANNA go there to save some lives.

My biggest hangup with the religious mindset. Instead of solving problems practically they look for imaginary enemies to blame.
