That photo is fully edited, those terminals are filled with hoodlums roaming all about, some areas have been used for refuse dump...nylon and plastic cans everywhere...Lagos is a glorified slum until they get rid of those hoodlums and miscreants causing dirt and havoc to the state.

OILOFGLADNESS:

IF THERE IS ONE THING I ENJOY IN LAGOS LATELY IS THIS,

well organized
very efficient
comfortable
nice staffs
Preference giving to the pregnant , nursing mothers, disable and old people ( this git me shading tears that Nigeria is good but bad leaders are the problems)

EARLY last year, i was pregnant and avoid driving due to hold up and also the need to stroll and exercise.

i decided to use this bus for the first time, so when i got to oshodi, i was on Queue, the lady at my back told me that pregnant women dont, Qeue, at first i didnt understand her, i didnt move, THEN the staff guiding people to enter the bus saw me from afar and called me, 'iya ibeji' abi 'mama ejima' come.

As if that wasnt enough, when i got there, they opened back door for me to enter the bus,( when i entered i realized that 1. there is a control door inside that i might not be able to pass with my condition, and again, the priority seats is just right there close to the back door) Then there was no space except at the extreme end where i needed to climb, then the officer inside had to tell one woman to stand up, i never understood, the woman argued, until the officer showed him the tag, that where she sat is for priority passengers... WAOOO, WAOOO

THEN SHE STOOD AND I SAT, THE WOMAN HAD TO GO TO THE BACK!

i couldn't believe it

GOD BLESS NIGERIA, GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE, GOD BLESS AMBODE, GOD BLESS SONWORE

What a fantastic story.

And someone says Nigeria is not moving forward?

We'll get there, definitely.

Big structure for bus station... these people no get shame, dubai bus stations are not like this magnificent, they are simple and flexible but serve the whole city well, if they want to do something great... give lagos inter City trains like dubai

So, because you saw a small bus terminal serving Dubai, we should also have a small terminal serving Lagos.

Never mind that Dubai has a population of 3 million, and Lagos has a population of 25 million.

As in ''how dare Lagos have a bigger bus terminal than Dubai?''

Some of you are just irredeemable in your low self-esteem.

author=YorubarLord post=101908859]Built by a yoruba engineering company called planet projects another one is currently under construction in ibadan . You would see more of this world class infrastructure starting from that useless airport in Lagos when we get our own nation. [/quote]Kudos to you guys. God's willing we'll go back to regional government and the entire south will be like Dubai.

Wise words.
OreoPaschal:
The former Governor did wonders in that project. I have used it once, the use of card in payment makes it budget friendly for individuals that use it daily. Even though it was over cost, it is worth the hype. However, my concerns have been on maintenance culture. I hope the interchange will be properly taken care of, considering the amount and the purpose of the project.

We Nigerians lack maintenance culture. I hope passengers won't use the restrooms without flushing. I hope street urchins won't turn the area as their hide out. I hope maximum security would be available, cleaners well paid and the facility managers top notch.

Such projects should be encouraged in other states and strategic locations in Lagos (Like Mile2, Ibeju Lekki and likes).

Nigeria will be great, if Nigerians behave themselves and handle Government properties as their personal property. The Government is not entirely our problem, but we are our problems.

Waooh, ask about Oyo state, Touts became part of the state when APC was voted out and replaced by Auxiliary bond Seyi Makinde.... Political Party has nothing to do with Touts...the interest of the leader does

Softly the federal ministry of health warns that hate bigotry jealousy n foolishness plaquing many of you Igbos now kills.

I wonder why you father is hating that a Yoruba man is claiming a location within a Yoruba enclave while bastard n lunatics from your tribe claim Lagos as a no man's land just to be able to lay impossible claim to it.

Bro, I don't know if the Yorubas haven't realized this yet, or are afraid of the unknown or the north.
With the springboard Lagos would provide, Yoruba land will develop in leaps and bounds when it separates.
I am Igbo, but was born in Lagos. I grew up in Lagos until I had to relocate to study at the university.
Nigeria as a country can NEVER favor the south.
Impossible.
