Why? because what we have in this part are rulers and not leaders. It won't take time before you see the state Governors using the police for their selfish bidding and you dear not talk. They will use the police to enslave people of their state, rig elections and so on. This government people really don't care for the masses which they are called to serve. Review of that 1999 constitution is like patching a broken pot. Besides, we all know that the intention of Lawal, APC and Buhari cabinet is not genuine, even if people do as he says las las nothing would be done about the conclusion. Just like COMFAB was dumped and others. I think it would be a waste of my time to participate. The whole provision of the 1999 constitution is fraudulent. Also, for the fact that it is coming from LAWAL who was against the people's wish few days ago... I would rather spend my time in the toilet than wasting it cos I assure you after it us said nothing would be done. |

When did we all region sit down to write so called 1999 constitution? People from Southern Nigeria listen.... You're are being tricked yet into another trap. The 1999 constitution presupposes that "we the people" produced it. But that's a lie!!. It's military edict and doesn't even qualify as a constitution. A military edict cannot be the basis for a civilian constitution. Because at no time did we all region sit down and agreed to produce the so called 1999 constitution, therefore, rewriting it cannot give us peace. It may ameliorate the situation for awhile but in future we'll return to status quo. Demand for a brand new constitution now, otherwise, your children's children would return to status quo. Miss it now and miss it forever. Produce a brand NEW constitution from scratch with every region present, only then shall it be a document that "we the people agree" to whatever. |
