Omo, my heart goes to the family who lost their lives.
If this happen to Yoruba's Nigeria would have past tense. But Igbo's still move in flocks to the north .

So, because people boast, they should be killed? But u won't say the same thing about a people who rape, kill and chase away ur people from their ancestral lands.

It's not like we have a choice at the moment! They forced us at gunpoint, and with the loss of millions of our kinsfolk, to remain 'one Nigerians'! We've not been equals at the table with the other two major ethnicities since the late 60s to date, and we have to survive, so this is why we 'move in flocks to the north' as you put it....as well as move to other regions of the country!

OP I don't understand this video was this after the Igbos slaughtered the Prime Minister of Nigeria who was a northerner n the premier of the northern region and that or the Western region. Why not tell us what led to the clip you post even though it showed absolutely nothing.

Quit sounding DAFT! Anyone not informed and reading your idiotic post will think Igbos as a ethnicity decided to send Nzeogwu and co (not all the coupists were Igbo) to go out and 'slaughter the Prime Minister Of Nigeria' and others! The video and recorded history tells us the pogrom against Igbos was a widespread affair in the north...comitted by ordinary folk on the steets! This shows that a anti-Igbo sentiment was rife and widespread throughout most of the north.....permeating almost throughout their society, right from the very top (their Premier) and down to the commoner on the street!

If Nnamdi Azikiwe had let a seccesion clause be in the Nigerian constitution, maybe we won't be where we are today.

The blood of tens of thousands of innocent people they spilled in the North will forever haunt them. Look at how pathetic their region is today, and they will continue to sink deeper into misery till the end of time!

Nnamdi Azikiwe had his faults....he was too idealistic, naive and believed too much in 'one Nigeria' given his place of birth and where he spent his early years in journalism and nationalism! That being said, he was one of a tripartite, so assuming without conceeding that what you accuse him of is true, how come one part of the tripartite was able to 'FORCE' the other two against their will? Because i'm assuming by your statement that the other two were unwilling participants in the 'one Nigeria' project!

So was there a proclamation by the emir to kill Igbos ? You Igbos argue like lunatics, no one told the coupist to go n kill the Prime Minister, the premier of the northern n western region who are not Igbos but leave Igbo eastern premier n Igbo president, but you expect a spontaneous killing responding to those to be tailored pogrom of the Igbos. If igbos no kill all those you killed would there have been a retaliatory killing of Igbos in the north ?

How do you now argue one was orchestrated while the other was just innocent killing ? E be like say head de pain your papa 4 house.

In my own opinion yes it does. A prime minister n a premier is worth more than a million worthless igbo so in a way the northerner are even lenient.

A good example is how many Isreali did the Palestine kill and now they have over a thousand dead. Your Igbos support Isreal which I support too so if we use their standard of judgment the program is moderately in order because I can tell you if Hamas slaughtered Netanyahu dragged his lifeless body on the street of Lagos like the Igbos did their will be no Palestine in planet Earth to tell the story but look at you Igbos you are still here claiming an entitlement to a cause you should be blamed for. You can do this because the punishment you receive is not commensurate to what you did, the northerners were too lenient.

Listen here little boy. Israel is fighting for her survival; millions of Jews were killed in the Holocaust like the millions of Igbos who were killed in the Biafran war. Israel has fought for her own state for eons now and they will protect it with everything they have. Igbos are still fighting for that state and once we get it, we will do likewise.

Besides, Israel does not carpet bomb civilian populations according to your fallacious primitive backward logic, Israel always goes for pinpointed strikes against terrorists.

You need a better education and enlightenment.

Genocidal Maniac. May your bitterness and frustration destroy you. smiley

My dear you shouldn't support evil. Nothing justifies killings of innocent civilians from any side. No qualms as far as I am concerned if Igbo military officers and politicians only were killed in the counter coup. But massacring a whole ethnic group? No!

You have comprehension problems and an inability to take a well reasoned and sensible position on any issue concerning Igbos due to your bigotry, hate and stupidity!

Pray, where did i state the pogrom against Igbos in the north was 'orchestrated'? It may have well have been.....i wasn't there or privy to any 'orchestrating' that may have gone on! Rather, what i was arguing was that the pogrom and evil against Ndigbo in the north was widespread....hardly needing any prompting from anyone or any 'orchestrating' for the average bloodthirsty, jihadi northerner on the street to go out, dagger in hand......baying for the blood of innocent Igbos! This shows anti-Igbo sentiments and hate against an entire ethnic group was (and some may argue, still is) ingrained in the DNA of the average core northern muslim! THE BLOODLETTING OF INNOCENT IGBO WENT ON FOR WEEKS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, so this couldn't be said to be a isolated, one-off incident!

What Nzeogwu and the others did was reprehensible, and if the response was limited to them i doubt we would be here talking about this today! Heck!.....there wouldn't even have been a war to begin with!
