Over 300 ISWAP fighters ranging from age 12 - 30 were able to launch an attack against Shekau's sambisa forest stronghold, fight and battle him for days and eventually killed him without the need for fighter jets. Nigeria army with matured soldiers, trillions of naira allocation, fighter jets, generals, special ops cops, navy seals, thousands of soldiers and all, have not been able to penetrate the sambisa enclave for over 9 years, let alone talk of defeating Shekau... If this news is not embarrassing to our military, I wonder what else will embarrass them. ��

Before nkọ? Boko Haram was old news as of 2016. Iswap has been the top dog in town for years now. They are the ones ransacking military encampments and seizing territories. The military has all but relinquished control to them. Boko Haram na small fries compared to iswap.

No one should celebrate ISWAP's victory n the demise of shekau,in fact the Nigerian armed forces especially the army should be ashamed of itself,ISWAP with their international connections are certainly going to be much more deadly than Boko Haram, Nigeria n Nigerians should just sit up for the worst coming,just imagine what the country has degenerated to,yet some fools will decieving themselves that nigeria is better today under buhari but we all feel the pains.

The moment of their fight was a great opportunity to deal a heavy blow on both parties. The military intelligence know they were fighting for days but couldn’t strike. If they had used superior air power, they may have been able to reduce their numbers greatly. But No, they chose to look on. ISWAP will only get stronger now, they gotten hold of some BH military hardware
