Interesting place indeed. I use to think of how all these terror groups bypass security to bring members, arms and ammunition all the way from Libya and even non African countries. I am thinking countries along that corridor have many things in common with the core north and it seems there is some sort of supporting each other to achieve their various aims otherwise all these arms and ammunition won't be flowing freely from that axis. It is high time they stick to exactly what they want and stop all these blood shed. If it is Islamic country, I am sure the south will easily agree and everything ironed out on a round table because everyone seems to be tired. So u have to contend with many active fighting gangs on the civilian level and Islam isn't quite a motivating factor as ethnicity and expected gains/spoils/pay from the master (the president for the army and other militant entrepreneurs for the other rebel gangs).

Southern Naija is fine. Tho, when there's a southern president expect iswap to be able to use it to discredit northern elite in their propaganda and seek to make gains against them. Hey how r ya. Yea, Im learning as well. The reason I said the south is fine is because there is no legitimacy for any of the ppl involved. Whether Boko haram, elite controlled banditry and other religiously/political motivated attacks on issues that dont concern the southern areas. Any thing happens and there is potentially gonna be serious massive popular action and protest (ppl will become more aware on a life/death basis). Nobody dies for what isn't their business.

I said DSS and NIA because they are truly on it. U know they've foiled attack plans on Lagos several times yea? And Abuja attacks are pretty much unheard of now. Those agencies are not monolithic. As much as a sinister group controls the decision making process for now, there is still a professional corps committed to performing their jobs. Dont mind Gumi them. They are doing what they're doing in their own house. Now it is very diabolical and wrong! But, imagine what happens where there is a casual or nonchalant response to mayhem caysed by these factors in say PH Uyo or Lagos? The reaction is different. Who is Gumi? Do ppl there know his name ? Their reaction is bound to be different and could have a serious impact for the future of Naija.
