Let's not play that game...otherwise, you will be justifying Boko's insurgency next. (There are videos of the Nigerian Army killing innocent civillians in 2009 in the NE...and guess who capitalised on those videos.....)

Thing is, you fight injustice via the democratic system, not by taking up arms and shooting people...because that may give some intial satifaction, but it then gets out of hand.

This is a cautionary tale on how to be a responsible and just Officer.

Discard the tribal and ethnic jingoism, have some sanctity for people's life.

Nigeria is a democratric country...the problem is, people want things too quickly

Recently, a lot of Biafran agitators were rejoicing with the Scots over their referendum. Now, the UK is an advanced democracy, yet it took over 70 years from the founding of the SNP for it to get a referendum.

Also, blacks have a lot of civil rights in the US. Yet it took them decades to get freedom from slavery and even more decades of fighting via the system to get more civil rights...and for many the work is not complete.

Back to the UK, the IRA wanted Northern Ireland to rejoin Ireland. They refused to use the demcoratic process...and it took them years of hitting their heads against the wall before they saw some sense...but by then hundreds of people had died...including inncoent people.(Including one Nigerian who died when the train he was travelling in was blown up by one of the factions in the Trobules. And he had nothing to do with any crisis...he was a hardworking accountat with a wife and kids. Dead for nothing because someone decided that violence was the way)

What am I saying? DEMCORACY IS A LOT OF HARD WORK. The problem with you guys ...whether Biafranists, Oooduaists, etc...is that you want instant, instant, instanta. And for that I blame Amry rule...where some leader can sign a decree and it is done. Democracy is a slow process.

And what annoys me about you secessionists is that you want to use violence to acheive your goals. And the probem with that is that this is Africa. Any small fire can become a wildifre in seconds and innocent people will die

Whereas, if you guys form a party with other secessionists called National Restructuring and Democracy party or something, and started small...maybe you won't see Biafra in 50 years, but you will get there and no one will have to die at all.

Demcoracy is hard work. And demcoracy is taking of time. If you don't like it...take to the bush and fight a long war. (And no, I am not mocking you...just being realistic).

Who used violence? Don't compare Nigeria to any foreign country cause Nigerian government don't even know what democracy means, a right to protest is part of democracy, why does Nigerian government shoot and kill protesters? Protest is part of diplomatic way of getting the voice of the masses heard, all those country you mentioned did protested, so how will democracy work in Nigeria when protesters are treated as terrorist? ok ,so you mean that Ipob should have stuck with democratic struggle for years despite the way Nigerian security forces use them for target practice ? that they should have kept to non violent means while violent herdsmen over an the East?
