The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Friday, reiterated his call to people of the state to rise and defend themselves from external attacks, particularly by militia herdsmen.

I totally agree with the premise of self defense by any means necessary especially when your life is in peril. But how can one defend himself against an ARMED ENEMY when you were stripped off your means of defense by the same person telling you that you have a right to self defense? Was it not the same ORTOM who confiscated arms and ammunitions from his CITIZENS? How can he tell his people now to defend themselves? With what are they going to defend themselves against armed KILLERS? With Machetes, Sticks and Stones? Mr. Ortom should be for real. He needs to provide his citizens with guns and bullets if he SERIOUSLY wants them to DEFEND themselves.

If NAF interfere with Aerial bombardment, there are good shoulder mounted anti aircraft guns or stingers in the black market. Their low flying, ill-maintained so called jets are flying coffins anyways.
