Please is this arrangement possible?

Giving my personal car to someone to use as cab 5 days a week for a salary or weekly remittance (whichever one will benefit the two of us), the remaining two days I want to be using it for my own private waka.

Is it doable?

No.

How much Naira are you expecting from 5 days compared to the damage 5 days of ehailng will put on the vehicle.

If that's your only car, keep it.

I won’t allow you give false hope to people managing their career and thinking of resigning to start driving cos of 70k net per week. I know some of them won’t listen but let it be in record that I was shouting Noooo noooo.
Ask how many people have joined d hustle and left, how many partners have sold all their fleet of cars and sit on the fence?
How many people have been driving for the past 3yrs and still intend driving for next 3yrs.
They can’t be more than 5%.
No doubt there is money in d hustle but not sustainable.

When there are facts, its not false hope. All I say is show proof...people have their choices to make. I did it and it worked for me.
Which nonsense career are u even referring to. On top less than 70k work?. Month will end they will not still pay u. What sustainability are u always talking about, Is the job forever? company can close down, they can sack u, so what's d furze about. My own is stop down playing peoples earnings, u can add how difficult it is to make it and allow the people involved to make their decision.
If u do one job for 6yrs, will u be happy with yourself? And if u do ehailing for 6yrs and have nothing to show, is it 70k job that will now make u successful?
That guy that rode okada and bought korokpe in 1yr, rode korokpe for another 1yr and bought land in Ibeju Lekki, is it ur 70k salary him for take achieve that one. Mbok fogerit. Nothing stops u from job hunting while doing this...u can even meet ur destiny helper...u can forward ur career or build up necessary funds for ur dream business doing ehailing.

I guess at the end of the day we can't all make it driving uber/bolt. Without the doubt there are people who this hustle have helped to put their feet on the ground and it also goes the other way round as well.

I can't advice anyone to quit their day jobs for this hustle, as for me I am just too lazy to come and start driving up and down Lagos before I go feed my family--just too lazy for that.

Presently where I work my job demands so much from me in terms of time of resumption and the time I close [it shall never be well for covid-19] but for now I don't see myself leaving my job for this hustle.

I think the hard part of this hustle is staying motivated. If one can stay motivated and disciplined enough for a set period of time then one can achieve, provided your village people allow you drink water and keep cup.

Simple...

I use 03 to 05 Honda civic for uber ..very strong and reliable cars for uber ..... I have never used 06 or 07 for uber ... But from others that have used it is very ok and strong .........

The Honda Civic transmission will not take abuse lightly .. It will end in highest grade of premium tears. So make sure you use the recommended transmission fluid at all times ..look for reliable source when the times comes .. From experience I can't vouch anyone anymore ...... I do bring them on request and Radauto sells them........

The Honda Civic engine can tolerate abuse.. But please don't abuse it . the are good engines and last a long time if properly taken care of . I will advice to use full synthetic oil 5w20 always...again source from genuine and trusted dealers on nairaland .......

PL who is using skoda fabia here automatic

Let me share my recent experience.
I started using my Corolla October last year and I have been using mobile XHP.
For the first 3months of service I bought the oil myself. The following ones I've been given mechanic money to buy the oil and he always open and put it in my present. After 2 servicing I discovered the check engine light started showing on the dashboard. I have been using it like that but last week when I wanted to do the servicing, I decided to buy the oil myself again from a reliable dealer and the mechanic put it as usual. After like 4 days the check light that has been ON for the past few months disappeared and never show up till this moment. As I'm typing this message a lot of questions are running through my mind especially regarding the mechanic

Be honest with me .. When was the last time u went for a full medical check? I know most people don't go for medical check because they are fine......until something now happens to them or they drop dead ..

You seem careless with alot of things... I hope you don't joke with your health the same way you joke with ur car .......

You see you can tell alot about a man . the way he takes cares of his cars, home , health , woman , and family etc .........You can also tell alot about a man how he dress and how he present himself........

Please take care of your health.. Just because you look fine does not mean you are fine .. Don't wait till an issue occurs before you address it ..........

Like I said in the past .... I will never buy naija used cars... Plus I always encourage car owners to follow owners manual at all times .........

We are now in 2021 and the influx of 2010 cars upward are in more demand than ever .nobody wants to be driving a 20 year old car forever.......As we move forward to modern cars and more currant year.. These cars engine are getting better and more sophisticated than ever before........

The funny part is as these cars advance sadly our mechanics are left behind technology wise... We can't be using technology of 20 years to still continue to maintain our cars in 2021...

This is why I encourage car owners to follow owners manual at all times.... You seem to know better than the manufacturer of the car ...... The same mentality you use to care for 2005 car now is the same mentality you will use for a 2012 or 2021 .....some car engine are less tolerant than others...........some car engine are sophisticated that once 1 thing goes wrong. Everything else will malfunction until the 1 thing is fix .....

This is my last back and fourth I will have with you....
