Don't try to cut her off from calling her bestie But try to spice things up in your own way. Do everything you can to make sure the marriage isn't boring like taking her to dinner, cinemas etc.
Besides she will also need more mentoring from her parents and you on how wife should behave. Am sure if she were to be hausa, she would know all this.

So teach her, treat her well, talk to her and advice her gently.
