Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos appeared on the Einfach mal Luppen Podcast, one which he co-hosts with his brother Felix Kroos, and addressed the rumors suggesting that coach Zinedine Zidane had told the players that he is going to leave Real Madrid this summer.

“Not only was it reported here in Spain, the rumors that he had told the team that he is leaving also spread to Germany. It was a blatant lie. Zizou and I have a good relationship so no doubt that he would’ve told me. I cannot confirm it. I don’t know how this will end, I can only say that it’s always fun to work with Zidane,” said Kroos.

we shouldn't miss out on Conte if he terminates his contract with Inter as speculated by the media... they aren't many good coaches available right now

If all we want to do is win the league, then sure, Conte is your plug. But if our goal every year is to ALSO try to win the UCL. That's beyond Conte's paygrade. Na Totthenham, Arsenal, Dortmund dem suppose dey rush am.

the man hasn't gotten the job and you've already pinned him a failure... if he gets it and prove you wrong making it to a semi or even winning it, what will you do?

The hype about Conte conveniently sidesteps his UCL record. Making it seem like he is every club's dream. But he isn't. Clubs like Bayern, Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, PSG, Juve at this point in time are not a fit for Conte.

That's precisely why I highlighted the teams he'd transform light and day. If he challenges for the Premier League with Arsenal, gets a top 4, but fails to get past the UCL group stage the following year, no one, including myself will fault him. In fact, that's a feather in his cap.

But there's no way he'd crash out of the UCL group stages by December in RM, and the Bernabeu will be singing his praises because he goes on to win the La Liga. We are not that desperate.

By the way there is a huge difference between not winning the UCL and having the worst European outing in 113 years of club history with a league-winning team.
