Crap. Fanciful building done with taxpayers money without any purpose. Who needs a building for busses? These guys are confused. Instead of them creating alternative means of transport like water and finishing the train system they are using 14years to build...they are commisioning bus systems....

About every major city (London, NYC, Paris, etc.) has bus terminals...
Good public transportation is FOUNDATIONAL economic infrastructure and public service.

In Lagos, this is part of an INTEGRATED public transportation system that includes water and (ultimately) rail...
Meanwhile, same Nigerians complaining about “fanciful” buildings will run and go take pics of same in Dubai or even Ghana!

Better than the Coaster buses that Governors and VIPs use in other states.

*But of course there’s nothing “ordinary” about citizens...

Oga, I refuse to go down with your thinking. Fact remains that the governor need not be commissioning things. LAMATA/LSTC or whatever name they go by has a MD who could delegate one of his staff to go do that if needed.

Are you talking about the never ending metroliner which he claimed he was not going to borrow money for cause the money already borrowed was not commensurate with work done or are you talking about the ilubirin axis development which he insisted he was not ready to spend govt money on projects already shared as private properties. Mind you obanikoro was vocal about the ilubirin projects on the same issues,before he was forgiven and anioted.
Difference between Ambode and the rest was simple. While Ambode concentrated more on masses dominated areas .the former and present trios concentrated and are still concentrating on areas belonging to the the rich. When you talk about alimosho, koshofe,Agege,okoko,badagry,ikotun,egbe,ketu,epe, ikorodu inner etc you are talking ambo, but the likes of ikoyi ,ikeja Gra, ,lekki , VI are the fort of the Trios.

There is no basis for comparison.both are good structures but with various purposes. Oshodi is a central hub more like and Interconnecting hub for other hubs like mafoluku hub

which lite rail are you talking about . Mind the linkage across the lagoon For the rail started under Ambode. Ambode built and commissioned schools and houses. The main issue was the ilubirin housing projects.and he was clear that he can not use govt money for a project already hijacked into private pockets
