Ruga can never happen in any southern state.

Let the herders go to their ancestral lands and implement RUGA. When they want to sell their Cow, it can be transported from there to other parts of Nigeria.

How your southern state stand with respect to Ruga will depend on the proximity of your governor to Buhari.

The closer your southern governor is to Buhari, the more likely he is to accept Ruga.

RUGA is lasting solution to the menace, but hate wont make many see.

Its a win-win on both sided, but like I stated, hate has blinded many.

You people are playing with the lives of your people.

Cold blooded killers and murderers who have been given the nod and green light by the "presidency" and their accomplices will be resettled to your communities and you believe the murderers with federal backing will automatically live in peace.

All these military onslaughts in the south and none is against these blood-sucking marauders. I am waiting for the southern president that will be on that seat and not have the political will to also go against these demons.

There's nothing bad in them training the cows there in the north and transporting them down south to the markets to be killed and sold as meat. No be say the meat dey sweet sef. Last two weeks, I used goat meat cook, very tasty. Last week, I used beef cook, I vex. Now it's Chicken/Fish/Goat for me, unless maybe I wan chop suya

South need to start Pig business in North.. and they must give us free land in main city
It will have to be allowed by the states giving land for pig farming and it is consequent to the northern indigenes not destroying such investment based on all sorts

"Sokoto to provide 1,000 hectares for grazing reserves" this and one from Niger state with that of Kastina will be enough for indigenous herdsmen, except FGN has another agenda.

That sokoto is providing 1000 hectares of land is only a tip of the cattle ranching business.

We no see other things do na To establish ruga, evil government even the people asking for Ruga are the northerners and they have the largest land mass in nigeria which are all in the north so they should do it there which we in the south will be happy to patronize them but they should not impose it on us we the southerners, we don't want and also don't need it Best thing let everybody rear her livestock herself we don't want Ruga, highest we divide and go our separate ways..... enough is enough

RUGA wht's that? Meanin giving lands to outsiders to settle permanently on your domain? Tht's territory encroachment and is not suitable for both herdmens and host community. Based on what communities suffered on this, it is not feasible bro.
But why are we even debating this commonsensical thing on how to handle roaming animals and stray animals? Na woo! sad
Let herdmen/cattle rarers "rent lands as tenants" for ranching, any day they breached the contract the landlords wil quit them. undecided

Kuginzi:
The solution to herders-farmers violent clashes in Nigeria has remained elusive due to lack of consensus, especially between the Federal Government of Nigeria and affected north-central and southern states' Governments, regarding the right methodology for curbing the menace. This lingering lack of consensus is attributable to the sentimentalization of this sensitive national issue given the wide ethnic and religious differences between two warring groups-the 'herders' who are predominantly Fulani, and the crop farmers.

Most of what is happening is ethnic cleansing. Open your eyes.

Ekiti is hilarious

Ekiti supports grazing reserves but will only cede land to State Indigenes in other words Ekiti are raising their own beef themselves

Let cattle rearing be made a full business. They should be paying tax to the FG, let them contribute to our economy. As it stand now, its just a one man business that does not increase Nigerian income base but innocent farmers are dying daily.
