Unlike conventional automatic transmissions, continuously variable transmissions do not have any gears. A CVT uses two cone-shaped pulleys. One pulley is connected to the engine, while the other connects to the rest of the transmission. It delivers power to the wheels. A steel or composite belt connects the two pulleys. Culled.

If it revs very high, check the gear speed sensor, check the wiring, I don't know why rats love that particular sensor wire.

When next u see nissan,if its not the suv better run. U never start to dey see problem,soon gear go enter Park but car go still dey move,then e go hook for reverse and won't change,u go dey use reverse dey drive. U never see anything,I have seen 3 with my eyes,2 were a nissan altima and 1 was a 2003 rav 4. Al on city ways blocking vehicular movement.

You're just putting unnecessary fear on this guy... No car without issue... With proper maintenance, he'll be fine.
