May I kindly ask you how you applied for the authorization to travel exemption?

I believe this is needed for SP holder who have accompanying family member right?

Good morning House.

I have a concern to share as regards student permit application and require a quick response from those knowledgeable in this area.

Is it advisable to apply for a U.S. student permit visa for a two years course that starts in August 2021 after submitting a second application (after the first denial) for a Canadian study permit for a 2 years course that starts in September 2021 because the wait is tiring?

Should I go ahead with my U.S. student visa application, bearing in my that Canada is my priority?

If the U.S. approves and stamps my passport for the same period as my course of study in Canada, should Canada request for my passport, would there be a course for concern given there is a valid U.S. study visa on it?

Can I have my passport stamped by both countries for the same academic study periods?

Thanks in advance.

Someone should pls reply me
Gracehayford1:
Happy Sunday everyone. I applied April 11th and I submitted my IELTS and normal bank statement and did biometrics April 26th since then no Nse request and no eligibility review. I’m thinking if I should send MBS on the webform so maybe my application can be faster. Note that I already submitted normal bank statement o. Should I go ahead and raise a webform for MBS.

Hello everyone,

Please I would like to know how I can get affidavits during this court strike situation that we are in

I would also like to know where I can still get the affidavits if possible

Or if there are other documents similar to affidavits that I can get

I would also like to know how everyone is coping with the whole court strike situation.

Thank you

@Frankrobbn1 @Justmellow @Adiekwe1@Lekiboboe @NairaLuck @justwise @Akannitommy and other gurus, please advice
You can do your AFFIDAVIT at a NOTARY PUBLIC
If you are based in Lagos,

Go to IKEJA, @ Oba Akinjobi way, the road leading to Ikeja G.R.A & Ikeja High court.,
u will see some women with Umbrella, (some standing, some sitting down) mentioning the word AFFIDAVIT continuously. Meet one of them

(The place is not far from the Popular Computer Village at Ikeja)

You can also check ijaiye road axis at OGBA, IKEJA , along where WAEC and NUJ (Nigerian Union of Journalism) office are located , u will also see some Women there mentioning the Word "AFFIDAVIT"

If you are not based in Lagos, you can mention your location here, there might be someone on this platform who might know a NOTARY PUBLIC in that location of yours

please I asked some questions in the previous thread nobody answered me please I’d appreciate a response from anyone please and thank you . If a bank statement of inflow of 8 million within 6 months would be strong enough and how do I go about my processing after granted admission. And I’m scared to carry on the process without my agent. He’s only secured admission for me. I’m new here please I’d appreciate a response.

Hi,

I want to assume you're a single applicant with no dependents accompanying you to Canada.

You will need to confirm from your admission letter or school website what the tuition fee for one year for your program will be. Also, add $10k CAD for living expenses for a year. ($11k CAD if you're going to Québec). Convert the sum to naira and the answer to your question will become glaring. You may want to add some buffers too to be on a safe side to convince the VO that you will not struggle with your financial responsibilities.

IRCC requires at least 4 months statement. However, if you want to satisfy NSE requirements, you will need to show "mybankstatement" certificate for 1 year transaction on your account.

Before I forget, remember to factor on the costs associated with the study permit application such as application fees, biometrics, medicals, etc.

Finally, as you're thinking of proof of fund, think harder too on how to establish strong home ties.

I hope this helps.

They are 3, 7 and 10 years old respectively.
2 years program I was already completing first semester when I got mine approved because I started online class with AIP.
Immediately after picking up my passport.
I applied for authorization for travel exemption. This speeds up the process.
I hope that helps

Good morning,
I'd appreciate it if I can get help from anyone here. A relation wants to move to Canada through the study route. He has a BSc economics (2:2), a PGD in education. What programs/courses can he do? I'd appreciate it if anyone can recommend schools too.
Thanks

You dony need yo be scared .. This is a group where you will get all answer to your worries , just take time to read through posts.

As for the account, I hope there as been inflow of money b4 that 6months ? Have you calculated your 1year tuition + the compulsory 10CAD for cost of living? Also can you justify where you got such money from ? If yes , you are good to go.

Hi everyone,
This month I applied for SOWP. On 24th May 2021, I sent a web form attaching my upfront medical sheet. On 29th May I got an acknowledgment email that my file will be forwarded to the responsible office. I found out my file is located at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi, Kenya.

In my form, I specified applying from the Philippines as I'm a resident here (all my documents are from here only my property document are from Nigeria) and the approval rate for SOWP here is high within a month or two, my wife's SP got approved within a Month. I would like to ask if is usual for Nigerian citizens even though living overseas to be processed in Nairobi, Kenya?.

@Frankrobbn1 @Justmellow @Adiekwe1@Lekiboboe @NairaLuck @justwise @Akannitommy and other gurus, please advise. Thanks

Hello everyone,
I didn’t know about NSE route before I applied but I have all the documents for NSE route. I have been waiting for them to send an email requesting for it but they haven’t since April 11th that I applied. Should I send a mail to them telling them that I am eligible for the Nse request or should I just upload MBS. Note that I have already uploaded my normal bank statement.

Hello you can still do your affidavit. When you walking pass in front of the court gate. Men and women standing near the court will ask you if u want to do affidavit.

Is applicable in all states

From my little understanding, if the funding can cover your expenses ( tuition fees etc all, additional 10k CAD for living expenses plus another 4kCAD for your babies expenses) and you still have some change, then apply with her.

Nb: this is my suggestion. Wait for the gurus own.

Thank you & GOD bless.

Do a transfer to their Standard Chartered Bank Account. You should get these details when you book an appointment.
I think you can make payment anytime but I would advise you do so, say 2 days to your appointment date (as advised by Lekiboboe).

Thank you sister, I understand you.

Tipzey:
I would advise you to include your child. Since you got a full scholarship, try to get the additional funds to cover for your child.
Don't be too eager to leave the child. plus it might affect you psychologically while you are studying.
I have also read a visa rejected based on the applicant leaving an infant for studies. This is not to discourage you..but personally I would say you take the risk of adding your baby and back it up with alot of prayers. (Writing from a mother's point of view)

Good day everyone.

My discipline is as follows:

1) Diploma in Computer Engineering

2) B.Eng in Computer Engineering

3) M.sc in Information Technology

4) M.Sc in Electrical Electronics Engineering

I'm 37 years old with a family of two and I want to apply for Canada or USA for a doctorate degree.

Do you think I stand any chance based on my age?

Is it better off I go the Canadian immigration route?

Waiting for your reply.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much.

Joyousgem:

Please do not leave your infant behind. As a mum of a five month old, the thought of leaving an infact is heart breaking and fills me with dread. I don't even think I can leave my 5 year old. Your infant needs you, you don't want to come back to a child that looks at you like a stranger. Your husband can still be your home tie. Personally, if you can show proof of funds to cover both of you, i'll advise you to apply for yourself and your infant together.
After approval and landing in Canada, you can apply for SOWP for your husband, using emotional support as your reason, with adequate finance in order ofcourse. Visa Officers are human too, remember to address it in your SOP.

Someone on the thread successfully applied with their child recently. Oyibo4real, search for their posts and reach out to them.

Wishing you all the best in your application
