Fire guts Ladipo spare parts market, building in Lagos

Men of the Lagos State Fire Service are currently battling to put out inferno which broke out on Sunday morning at spare parts sales line, Alapeju section of Ladipo Market, Mushin, Lagos.

As at press time, the cause of the fire was yet to be determined. The fire is said to have destroyed several items estimated to cost millions of naira.

The spokesman of the state fire service, Amodu Shuabu, who confirmed the incident , said efforts are in place to quell another fire that gutted a building at 36, Abeokuta Expressway, Cement, Dopemu, Lagos.

Shuabu, however, appealed to residents to maintain peace as efforts are on to put out the raging inferno.

As if Fire outbreaks started happening today.
The only place I advise Igbos to move from is the North and that's due to excessive insecurity, even Northerners are moving away from thier region to to South.

I was just discussing this same thing around here. That 95% of these guys are thugs who want to steer the course of their people which ultimately means they don't have sound education to understand policies, directives, societal management and administration


I feel for Ndigbos. Even in my own clan, I don't listen to Asari from day one and have continued to tell people to not listen to the fat fool. How and why should an illiterate govern the literate? Why should the uneducated assume they know more than the educated
