In order that crisis does not spill over with reprisal killings in the North over the murder of Gulak, the Nigerian security and intelligence community had to act fast, some bad boys in the area were rounded up and killed immediately and tagged IPOB to make it look to the Northerners that the death has been revenged and there is no need for reprisals. Those men in the security architecture can do anything to make it appear that they are working. However after the dust is settled, police needs to interview Rochas Okorocha faction of APC in Imo State, they were the people that had ax to grind with Gulak over the I'll fated governorship primary that produced Uzodimma.

We all know that the killing of Gulak is the handwork of the terrorist IPOB. However we have to pretend that it is political to manage the fragile situation.

If it were to be political assassination it won't be carried out in Imo state knowing very well the role he played in the last APC guber primary and the suspicion it'll generate.

What could be their motive..?
That's what the epoluce should have gotten from them before killing them. But because these people are not the killers, the police can't know the motive and can't know who sponsored the killing. In fact, the same person who sponsored the killing might still be the one to send police to kill the killers to hide the motive and the main enemy.
But knowing the kind of police we have in our beloved country, this picture maybe from years back and the people in that picture mere criminals who don't even know anything about the death of the Gulak man.
