Thanks bro for your response
Which one is upfront medicals

Upfront medicals - means undergoing a medical examination prior to receiving a request from the immigration authorities of Canada. This can be done before and after the submission of an immigration application to Canada.

Hello Everyone,

My first permit application was refused, I am in the process of reapplying. But I was only presented with just form IMM 5645 FOR FAMILY, & IMM 5257B APPLICATION FOR TEMPORARY RESIDENCE.

No study permit form or application outside of Canada form.

Please is it normal, during reapplication ?

Refresh the page and check properly your answers to the online questionnaire. You should select - STUDY - category of visa application.

More good news.

It seems the Canadian government's COVID-19 Testing and Screening Expert Advisory Panel has advised that the government should end its policy of mandatory three-day quarantine stays in designated hotels.

This means there is possibility that the huge cost associated with the hotel stay will be not be a concern for Fall students.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6043473

A huge relief.

It's a good news, but anything can happen in future... return to old policy, implementation of new policy, etc.

Please how long does it takes gcms online to receive payment. I ordered my gcms note since last week Friday but I haven't been debited yet. I've also signed the consent form they sent and they've received it.

Someone found this information in their gcms note.

Quite strange! I will like to have a full version of the GCMS notes to gain a clearer insight of the applicant's immigration circumstances.

I explained that I had arranged with my mother in-law to take care of the kids while I am away but I didn't provide any cover letter to that effect. Please should I send the letter through web form?

Frankrobbn1:

You plan on leaving your (2-years old) twins for your hubby to take care of them? Do you think an immigration officer will believe such story? Don't your hubby have other commitments and responsibilities at his place of work? In a situation like this, I will advice either your mother or mother-in-law should provide a cover letter confirming that she will be responsible for the well-being of the kids during your absence. This makes sense to the visa officer that someone is capable of looking after them than your hubby (a man)

Hi @Frankrobbin thank you for your time please I understand the part of travelling to Canada to get the required documents to apply for SOWP. But can one apply for accompanying dependants immediately after receiving the study visa approval?
I actually applied with out my 2boys 7&9years and spouse but now am regretting not including my kids and using my spouse alone as hometies, the thought of going without them is making me go through the motions . Was thinking I could start classes online while waiting for their visas, want to know the possibilities.
Or would another option be to amend my application as I just applied mid May. Please advice. Thanks

Given that you've already applied for your study visa, I will suggest you should be patient until your application receives a positive consideration from IRCC. Your two boys aged 7 and 9 respectively will apply for open study permit, and this has to be done when you've successfully arrived Canada and have obtained the relevant documents in support of your active immigration status in Canada. It is definitely a difficult decision to make, albeit you've to endure so that you can achieve the prime purpose of relocating to Canada with your entire family.

Hi,
Good day House
I got admission to sheridan college for Fall 2021, but my uncle is my sponsor and he leaving in canada over 20yrs ago, what are my chances he has paid for my first semester fees. He got an agent for me overthere to do d process which I have submitted all documents before 15th of may and i have also done my biometric but d agent told me to conduct ielts which am planning to do.
Please house what are my chances, and I have a travelling experience to dubai.
Kindly tell me what are my chances.

Sheridan college and Uncle sponsorship is a red flag already in the application. Since you've applied already, you can keep faith alive and hope for the best.

Kindly let me know the outcome of your application.

Many thanks

Why deed of gift? Why can't he (dad) sponsor you? It is much better if your dad is the sponsor for your study visa application to Canada.

I finish with 2.2 in business Administration undergraduate and I had diploma in marketing can I apply ? I don’t mind if I can see someone to put me through or give advice thanx in advance .

To increase your visa approval chances, you should opt for a Post Graduate Certificate program in Global Business Management at Conestoga College.

how long is the expected duration of the statement of account to be presented, is it six months or four month duration? If the wife is standing as the main applicant for a study permit while the husband is applying for an open work permit simultaneously with her in which the husband is the main sponsor.

Ideally, six (6) months bank statement should be fine from the husband. More so, attach a mybank Statement Certificate with her application.

Hello everyone,

Please I would like to know how I can get affidavits during this court strike situation that we are in

I would also like to know where I can still get the affidavits if possible

Or if there are other documents similar to affidavits that I can get

I would also like to know how everyone is coping with the whole court strike situation.

Thank you

@Frankrobbn1 @Justmellow @Adiekwe1@Lekiboboe @NairaLuck @justwise @Akannitommy and other gurus, please advice

A notary public officer can serve the same purpose as the Federal High Court. They can help certify your documents and notarize the affidavits.

Good morning @Frankrobbn1 I see that you’re taking your time this morning to respond to queries. Thank you
I asked a question last night but I haven’t gotten a response yet.
My sister in Canada is co-sponsoring me. She is funding my GIC account, but should I mention in my SOP that she will be accommodating me for the one year period of my studies?
I actually feel I should specify that her sponsorship is purely financial... but do you think mentioning this accommodation arrangement is a big red flag? Would love to get your thoughts on this.

Don't reschedule. You will still do it once you get there.
If I had known, I would have done my Biometrics and Medical same day and saved myself some time and money.

My Biometrics appointment was for 8:30, got their by 10am due to some delays and left their withing 20 minutes...should have gone for the medicals same day but I already booked for the next day.

So, relax!

For NSE route, one year.

Otherwise, 4, 5 or 6 months, according to your discretion.

I'd advise taking NSE route.
