Please be properly informed that your SOWP application was transferred to the immigration office in Nairobi, Kenya simply because the visa office in Manila (Philippines) have been iinundated as of late and presently facing a high volume of applications including clearing the backlogs for PR applications. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Manila visa office are working with critical and reduced number of staffs which unavoidably resulting to increase in processing times. They might have transferred your application to reduce the workload from their end. If you followed the immigration procedure and requirements of the SOWP and have provided documents to support your application, you shouldn't be disturbed about it.

thank you Mr Frankrobbn1

Good morning @Frankrobbn1 I see that you’re taking your time this morning to respond to queries. Thank you
I asked a question last night but I haven’t gotten a response yet.
My sister in Canada is co-sponsoring me. She is funding my GIC account, but should I mention in my SOP that she will be accommodating me for the one year period of my studies?
I actually feel I should specify that her sponsorship is purely financial... but do you think mentioning this accommodation arrangement is a big red flag? Would love to get your thoughts on this.

It's not a bad idea if you indicate that she will be providing you with accommodation and financial support for your education in Canada. However, it is imperative that your main sponsor in Nigeria should have a good closing balance far above that of your sister in Canada. This is to demonstrate that you're economically established in Nigeria and the incentives of returning back to Nigeria after studies far outweighs that of Canada. Also, include your personal bank statement and proof of property ownership to evidence your financial status and establishment.

The application is good as rejected! There is no progression in your choice of program, funds are presently held in the hotel's company account, the study plan/SOP is vague and doesn't outline a clear explanation as to why you're opting for a Business Management program when your professional experience declares that you've been volunteering in an orphanage home.

The application is poorly packaged, you need a professional in your next application to guide you on how to correct all of those mistakes. Patiently, wait for the final decision.

Since I have all the documents to tackle this issues, Can't I just send it to them now with a letter of explanation ?

Refresh the page and check properly your answers to the online questionnaire. You should select - STUDY - category of visa application.

I saw this, does it mean the procedural fairness was an error, because I declared the us refusal and there isn’t a charge back, cuz money was paid personally
Someone should please check the attached image and explain. Thanks

Have you received a PFL letter from IRCC regarding the alleged charge back misrepresentation? If you've not gotten any of such letter from immigration, you might consider sending them a written letter of explanation to address the concerns raised. Again, check the last two pages of your notes, if there is any comment from the Visa officer on your application.

Yea, I received a pfl from them on April 20th, and I replied 4 days letter with a lawyer,

On my application I stated I have been refuse us visa before, I check the box, even attached the im form with the said date I submitted my application and for the charge back, there was no charge back up till now, because money was paid by me with my account.

Thank you very much for your response. It is this sponsor in Nigeria that I do not have. However, my Parents are supporting me and they have made transfers to my account and provided letters of support along with letters of retirement and the positions they attained before they retired.

This is actually a re-application. I have IELTS with an overall band 7, mybankstatement of 8M, first semester fees payment, employment letters, payslips, study leave, introduction letter from employer, rent payment receipt, FBN shares statement, pension statement

I sponsored myself the first time, I’m just getting a co-sponsor now with additional documentation for a better chance.

I’m not sure how else I’m to provide personal assets and financial status *tears*

Boss, from the wisdom of my experiences in handling complex immigration cases, I strongly doubt if there is a remedy to your current situation. Most especially, the career progression sighted by the program case analyst (Business Management and volunteer experience in an orphanage home). How do you demonstrate the connectedness between the two areas?

You may want to try your possible best, albeit I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel in this case.

I don't think you should have any further concerns with your application if the lawyer adequately responded to the concerns with supporting documents to address the allegations raised by the visa officer.

Any verifiable proof from you to have debunked my submission? Please note that my submission was on the basis of several immigration applications and cases I have observed first-hand. You shouldn't rely on one applicant's case to reach on such conclusion.

I have a law firm, which I run, the account is active and cac incorporation documents are available
I have a pig farm with all relevant title documents
I have a phone store with all relevant documents and an active account
I have cac documents for a new betting company I am in the process of securing the license
My sponsor can transfer a reasonable amount to my personal account as living expenses in canada, he has already paid CAD 10,000 as tutition deposit
My sponsor is willing to send mybank statement of his personal account
My sponsor is willing to send all relevant documents of his other businesses

All these documents were available prior to the application, however the agent I used refused to use them saying it was too much. Do you think with all these its possible to tackle the issues.

I am more concerned about how to go about the further proof of funds.

Tank you so much for your time

From personal experience avoid Wakanow. They almost got me stranded one time. If you can, book your flight directly from the airlines' website.
NEYOT88:
You can book from wakanow, most travel management companies have deal codes given to them by airlines which further reduce most fare on their website hence the reason you are seeing it cheaper from Wakanow.

You need to show a progression. Why do you want a Business degree now after you have a Law degree and Law school certificate? This was clearly seen on your GCM note. Your choice of study does not correlate with your background, more so now that you say you have a law firm. You should be concerned on how to tackle that if possible before you apply again. It’s best to get it right

Just 3 weeks

Mine is going to 3 months now, no eligibility yet. There’s no working time frame for eligibility review to start, it depends on so many factors.
Some start as early as after 1 week, while some go as long as 4 month. Just be positive
