Oga take the job, if the pay is something above 150k-200k. I have a neighbor that is a manager at filling station, just under a year, he had bought his first car and he is doing well.

This is a job I am searching for and you are asking if you should take, no matter the amount you are going to be paid, you will always get extra money and it's not necessarily dubious ways, you will always have suppliers wanting to supply your station and they will always treat you well just to gain your favour... I talk from experience as a former supervisor who more or less doubles as a manager cos my Oga is mostly not on ground... A vacancy came just last week which I applied for but not heard from them yet...

Sense wee not kill you! OP read this very well.
ambrosedmax:
do you have something better than the said job?

I'm not on that field, but I can tell you that it might be a path way to your dream life, if you are in Abuja for example, starting from the city-gate to the airport, in every 5 structure being built along that route"airport road" ⅗ is a fuel station.. A lot of politicians are buying up any lands for sale and converting them to fuel stations, you might be lucky, your boss might be one of these guys who isn't doing this for business sake, you might take advantage of his money laundering business to set yourself up too as they are quick to bless people working under them so as to avoid whistle blowing....

I don't even know if I made sense.. please if you are building in and around Abuja.. do contact me for your woods, planks and roofing solutions..

A manager does not necessarily need to go close to tanks when discharging, it's the duty of the supervisor, managers are always indoor and if you trust your supervisors, you can work from home or resume when it's convenient, and MD personality also matters.

You didn't tell us how much the pay is. Some filling stations pay their managers less than 30k, you'll have to become a thief if you want your pay to increase, if you currently don't have any job, then take it or else you'll come back here and create another thread telling us how your fiancee left you because of your employment status.

This I have seen.
Bros as a manager him go blow. Salary no be money. Any manager way de pay less that 30 a month de carry pay 100k a month

Take it don't despise days of little beginning

Please take the job.

I'm currently a supervisor in a big filling at the entrance of an estate in Abuja. However, the pay is not much and the time is consuming. No growth as well. But, the calibers of people I haven't met can't be express by mere words. Although, I'm planning my exit through the help of my customers that promised me a good paying Federal job soonest.

Never despise little beginning cus you can never tells where your destiny helper can locate you.

All the Best.
