Orji Police Attack: Police Release Man Wrongfully Arrested

The Imo State Police Command have released Casimir Ibe who was wrongfully arrested and paraded as one of the suspects that attacked Orji Police Station last week.

It was gathered that Casimir, who is from Ogwa in Imo State, came back from Bonny Island to bury his father-in-law but was unfortunately arrested.

His sister-in-law, Queen Esther raised the alarm on social media and revealed that he works for an oil company and was just visiting Owerri during the attack.

Casimir has gone out to buy a casket when he was arrested.

Many human rights groups weighed in on the matter and got him released.

Kudos to the police on this one.

Which one was not wrongfully arrested? Just because this one is an oil company worker and the relatives screamed, that's why they concluded he's innocent. So all the others that have no jobs would be deemed to be UGM because they have no one proving their alibi?

no kudos to the police .. thank the person that raised the alarm , if not u know what they would have done .. did the man not tell them he was innocent? Did the police give him a fair hearing ? Please withdraw that kudos..

Imagine countless and inumerable numbers of people who never got justice cos none to speak for them. There are some their families has done their burial believing they're dead not knowing they were raided innocently and are abandoned in one prison cos no case against them.
