It was propaganda like this that made the Fulani to be viewed as a threat from the start. Fulani were peaceful, however farmers began to fear Fulani based on erroneous reports that there was a "conspiracy" or an "invasion" by these Fulani settlers. So the farmers began to attack Fulani based on these reports and fears.

This led to Fulani being attacked at the slightest provocation, as such there were unfortunate reprisals, but the Fulani were not the first to strike, they merely counter strike, however the biased southern media will make it seem as if Fulani simply woke up one day and began attacking their neighbors and fellow statemen. This is where the deception started, before we knew it, there was a covert war against the Fulani.

This is why we have to be careful because the Fulani are ready and willing to defend themselves from infringements on their freedoms to life and livelihood. We all just need peace.

Let's be fair to those dwelling in the bush, many only know that as their home as they have been there for many years and have even began to raise families there.

So the recent killings in Benue by fulani started because of what?

Lemme take a moment to visit somethings you said.

Why should fulani be staying in the forest in this 21st century without permission or payment for it? Are d forests not people's lands? Why not come out nd buy or rent lands like normal people? You telling me that they attack based on reprisals but we see them trampling on people's farmlands and destroying their crops. When any farmer complains, they threaten or kill them. Who doesn't know the harm the fulani has done in Nigeria?

Just like ur ppl defend themselves, southerners will also defend themselves. Nobody has the monopoly of violence.

For peace to reign, the fulani should stop their expansionist agenda, stop the unwarranted killings, leave people's forests nd rent lands.

The Helicopter was delivered to Nimasa in Nigeria in March of 2021

“The delivered helicopters have received serials NN313 to NN315, and will be used as part of the Deep Blue maritime security project and will operate alongside the special mission aircraft (Citation CJ3) and Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).”

This is a conspiracy theory, that helicopter could be bringing medicine to underserved communities that live in these areas. Not everything is about war...

Let's not live in paranoia of the Fulani, even the ones living in the bush, they are merely trying to survive like the rest of us. Let's not spread false news, let's be cautious as things are already on edge in our dear country.

Will you keep quite, you think they don't have open routes and points to carry out legal activities like that

Medicine are not taken to bushes, if they must reach undeserved communities they have parties that they give to do the reach out

Btw nobody goes to bushes these days unless you are one of the Terrorists in the bushes

Taking a whole government asset to the bush when you aren't the military or police shows you are a Terrorist dealer

Eyewitness have also confirmed the chopper to take off immediately it was sighted by locals

The guilty are always running

My brother.

If you take time to understand the Fulani man you will know the Fulani man. Before the Fulani settles anywhere he will first have cattle graze the place in order to understand the landscape, this is why you will see Fulani sleeping in the bush with cattle, this is to gauge the land to see if anyone has a claim. If no one comes to ask them to leave they know that this land is open land as an owner would not allow cows and strangers to be sleeping there. Common sense.

Once it becomes apparent that no one has come to claim the land, a more permanent structure will be setup and others will know that they too can setup. Once the men have setup, women and children can then begin to show up, and a thriving community can emerge. So to say that they are taking people's land is simply not true.

The problem is that only one side is discussed online, many northerners are not in these spaces to educate Nigerians on all these things.

We need more understanding in this country. Please stop allowing propaganda from those who want to break our nation, we are brothers and we all can live in any part of this country.

Also, the Fulani man is a global man, anywhere he goes and it is good, will be home. The Fulani is detribalized and one of the most tolerant of other's cultures, to the point where Fulani will even leave their mother tongue and use the language of the host communities. Fulani believe in becoming "one" with the hosts.

So, many Fulani came into the country from Sahel not looking for housing but land to call their own. This is why some occupy the bush, because from there they will be left alone to develop and create a community far enough away from the indigenes in order to not cause trouble. Fulani are peace loving.

This is why the bush is important, it is free of population and fertile, so we can create new communities. However, recently these communities have come under attack and Fulani have been retaliating. All the Fulani want is to be left alone, and for peace to reign.

Lastly, those land were unoccupied, no one cared about them until Fulani began to settle them, then all of a sudden tribalism reared its ugly head. If they were Yoruba they wouldn't have been bothered. But simply due to the mere fact that they are Fulani, they are public enemy number one.

This is not right, and we cannot continue like this. The goat cannot be pushed to the wall. Let's seek peace and allow everyone to live, work and establish themselves in the way they see best.

I tried avoiding your comment but the first few lines i read I must say you are very stupid

So you mean that if a Fulani man comes with his cows and enter a bush then state government would immediately know and should start pursing them before they know the land isn't free

Are you aware that state own the land for the people, do you know the bulk work on the state government table.

You expect them to be noticing a grain of sand in a beach like fulanis

It is when fulanis now become an aggregate problem to be noticed that is where government can notice their activities

You see where you pple are wrong? The worst part is that you pple don't want to learn or change ur way of thinking. You can't come into host communities, and impose ur own way of life on them.

Lemme tell you now, that all bushes have owners. The forests belong to pple in the community and is a land waiting to b developed when d owners deem fit. The reason why nobody asked a fulani man spying d forest to leave...is most certainly because they didn't see the fulani man enter, since they don't live in the forest. The only reason the ppl in the community would enter d said forest is if they want to hunt, cut timber or sell a portion of the land.

So imagine when the owner of an acre of land in the forest, come into his land one day to do any of the aforementioned, and meet a whole bunch of fulani people making permanent structures in his land jus because no one saw them there early enough to tell them to leave.

What do you think the owner will do?

You made a reference that if it were yorubas doing what fulani are doing, they'd be left alone...but that is a big lie. Becos first, yorubas can never bring derself that low to live in a forest. Secondly no indigenous Nigerian, does such a thing. People rent houses, come out in the open, socialize. Nd when they come to a host community, they take permission from their hosts b4 doing anything.

You talking about understanding the fulani, but it is a two-way thing.

Fulani shouldn't bring their own way of life and force it on their hosts and expect them to understand, when they themselves do not care to understand the hosts.

Times are changing, The world is moving forward and every tribe who is peace loving should move along with it, and that means, making adjustments to ur way of life, when you come to host communities. Because they are ur hosts, and you ppl are the guests.

That's my two cents on the matter.

Mr. Invader sir, there is NO SUCH THING as free land in Southern Nigeria. Every square inch of land, whether cultivated or not, belongs to local communities, who buy, sell, or inherit such acreage, rather than simply just occupy it as though it is free for the taking.

The mere fact that there are no houses or crops on any given parcel of land CANNOT become the basis for wandering landless invaders to simply move in and "establish communities", as you so amusingly put it.

I suggest that you and your cattle-rearing, kidnapping, crop-destroying, genocidal murderers and armed robbers kindly phuck off back to YOUR ancestral homeland in the glorious Futa Djallon mountains of Guinea, where you can freely "establish your communities" since you are evidently not prepared to PAY or even request permission to enter any land you invade with your nasty diseased cattle, as disgusting parasites infesting fully OCCUPIED and OWNED regions of Africa.

Have a fabulous day good sir, and see you in hell.

How does that sound to you? I feel like calling you stup.eed!

You have just proved that you have a global expansionist agenda. Did you leave the Sahel to look for a land to call your own in another country?
No wonder the country is rudderless because we have a president and other leaders who share the same school of thought with you.

It is good to encourage migration, but in your case, you see yourself as better than the darker-skinned and born to subjugate them.
Your history in Nigeria attests to this.

You were the last set of migrants into this country, and you did not come in peace.

Every land has an owner- community or government. No land is free!

Every subtle attempt to appropriate our ancestral lands will be resisted. There are thousand and one Sunday Igboho's in Yorubaland.

What do you mean by if a land is unoccupied it means no one owns it? I’m starting to believe Fulanis are really land grabbers. You come from far away Sahel to the south and start talking about an unoccupied land being settled in and made yours.

You guys do not understand the concept of living together with others in a community? Why cant you enter the towns and rent a place like normal people, why must you settle or occupy forest reserves and then eventually lay claim to it.

You compiled an article devoid of logic. Do you think this will convince southerners or middle Beltans whom majority of them understand the importance of living together as a civil society?

You called Fulanis peace loving, don’t let me start with the Jihad you’re carrying out and have carried out in the past.

If you just stay in your Kano or kaduna state and graze all you like, no one will have a problem with you. No one from here is going to guinea or wherever your home land is to settle down in their farms and take over a huge chunk of community for free under the guise of herding. Does your people in the forest even pay taxes?

You guys need to become civilised or you keep dragging Africa back as a whole when other continents are booming with civilisations.

Ori e daru. Asiwere. You are too daft for a reply.... saying a land is an open space. In Yoruba land, forests are owned by communities until allocated to individuals. If not yet allocated to individuals, who will show up to lay claim and tell Fulani to leave? It is when they start kidnapping that town leaders are alerted to drive to drive homeless Fulani from their community.

That's how a typical fulani thinks

If land is so free and easy like that you think all the billionaires in the south don't have eye and money for them.

In my place you can't even buy that community space it's reserved for future large scale things like universities, factories

Then one idiot Fulani would stop from the trailers shipping them down south and claim he is the mongo park that discovered free land in another person state

I have ran a query of the said helicopter ..

It's an Agusta westland 109 Leonardo with registration NN313 and it belongs to NIMASA. I wonder why A NIMASA chopper decided to land and wait inside forest and ran off immediately it was sighted
Good job. Share this message all over Twitter and Facebook. Nigerians must be ready to defend themselves from state sponsored terrorists invaders.
