It looks like only self-proclaimed activists are criticizing the Nigerian government for suspending Twitter, cos from the tweets I have been reading online, especially those of Non-Nigerians, people are not happy with Twitter at all.

Bruno Maçães, for example...

This seems like a reasonable decision. No sovereign country should be inclined to place Twitter above the head of state or head of government

It was perhaps tolerable for a US internet platform to determine what can or cannot be said by the US president, but how did anyone ever think the model could apply globally?

All we just want is peace, progress and development . If you lose elections, go into opposition in a patriotic and responsible manner and don't raise terrorists to bring down the nation. When it's the next election, who says the electorate can't vote for you or your party? This idea of raising secessionist groups every election has got to stop! No Nigerian life should be lost on the altar of politics if our mutual interest is in the progress of Nigeria. I am sure even APC has learnt a lesson too. Nigerians will rise up and defend their country!May God bless Nigeria.
The good news is that for Twitter Nigeria to resume, it may now get a licence, register with CAC, open a physical office, hire our teeming youths and pay annual corporate tax to Nigeria!
You deserve a medal

Twitter hold the right to determine what’s best for their community and what’s not.
And Buhari also hold the right to determine what's best for Nigeria by suspending Twitter indefinitely in his domain. We can all be mad together.
If a single man (jack) can unilaterally determine what's permissible or not with his brazen double standard and hypocrisy then a government of over 200M people (voted into power by over 15M voters) also possess the right to kick their ass off.

yes

From the HQ of African Politics, i mean the Jagaban that promotes African Democracy. I greet you.

I've wanted to know how some Nigerians access blocked-access websites from other countries, i mean dating sites that hate Nigerians...

I've recently found my answers, been hearing VPN and sort, a friend suggested i download a VPN to access my Twitter account. Oh! i sensed this is how love scam thrives.

All hail the Government with wills. Donald Trump who allegedly called our president 'lifeless' is the most lifeless, He acted like a dimwit when some techy guys banned a whole president. World president?

Jack Dorsey, see Nigeria is Different, this is Africa's Giant and his balls are made of STEEL. He's no push over like DT (DimwiT) who just laughed at the powers you wield.
Powers to cause insurrection
Powers to turn People against Government
Powers to influence electorates decisions
Many powers you wield no one is checking, but i love the Check & Balancing

Let me say this JACK, this statement "for activities that are capable of undermining Nigeria's corporate existence" will be upheld as protection of Democratic Rule. By any sane Government. Meaning, no judicial power will support this. Jack, Tangling with Buhari's Administration is a bad luck for you. Maybe you don't understand, Nigerians do.

Let's review and predict the future of Twitter after this recent activities

You placed ban on Trump who's a sitting president of the United states.
You pushed delete button on African most powerful Black president's speech
Handwritings shows you support a war by terming 'warning' as call for carnage. Big time Goof.

Many of these powers want to punish you, they've gotten an example already

This is not to say the writer is supportive of the Ego caressing attitudes of the government but a good riddance to bad rubbish.

More Government powers now have the balls to sanction you Jack Dorsey, if you're seeing this, This is what the future holds for your bird, Other political powers will flex muscles.

Thank you for having me.

No matter how you look at it, as usual, Lai Mohammed misled Buhari on this matter.
Let them both suffer the repercussions of their actions.

2 weeks from now, they will start looking for loan to borrow.
