And Villa did not have it easy in that Barca side, if playing in a great team automatically confers individual success. Ibrahimovic didn't succeed at Barca but went back to a lower AC Milan and excelled.

For Spain, Villa was the protagonist of that greatest international side. He was not a passerby. He scored 9 goals in 2 tournaments several of them in tight matches against big teams. A trophy at the end of it all distinguishes him from a competitor with similar output.
