First let me respond to your thinking that your identity is straight to their inbox. This alone says it all, you don't even have a grasp of what privacy and anonymous forum are. Let's say UBA is offering customer service with many employees here on nairaland. Don't you know that those employees will also have nairaland accounts and be commenting in this space too? They can get sacked at any time. Because they already know who you are, then this forum is no longer anonymous. They can even sell your info to someone that wants to track you down.

I know for a fact that this ban won't last a month but if it does, there's high probability that customer service will be redundant with the fact that there'd be less complaint. People would find it hard to locate them in other media. The way some other media are configured, running a customer service there and giving multiple people access to account is not really cool like it is on twitter. Facebook runs a page stuff but messaging customers on FB is troublesome and not very safe. I will stop at this point because it's hard to let a made up mind see things in unbiased way.

Go and check, the commonest seems to be Twitter.
DSTV's response to issues or queries is swifty on twitter than Facebook.
