We promised to employ 5000 Rivers youths but the application we have is over 30,000, thousands of applications from Imo, Abia and other states alone.
To sit down and look at the applications is even a problem. But we have promised our people job and we will surely fulfill our promise.

They were born and brought up in Rivers State and know no other homeland than Rivers State.

To make the matter interesting, the Igbos in Rivers State have letters from Rivera State traditional rulers and citizenship letters from RVST Government affirming their Rivers State origins and nativity while Ijaws, Ikwerres etc. barely have any identification.

Wike has lost this battle already.

The Igbos got the official citizenship certificate from Rivers State Government.

Still doesn't make sense.

The jobs are for Indigenes and it was stated clearly.

They should use their certificate, add some manners maybe sense to it go back to their states and apply than be taunted openly on media.

The justification is lame and Wike knows what he is doing by making it loud.

Notice the professionalism between the lagos Gov and the near state of quackery that is obtainable in rivers state, why is this man unfit for a higher office and is making it very evident .

Igbos are doing same all over the country and the world but this good for nothing makes it an issue, I still don't understand what these folks want
