That book you have in your hand was penned by humans in human languages in order that it could be read and comprehended in much the same way any one with basic human language comprehension skills would any text out there also written in human language. What is the Holy Spirit supposed to interpret for you when you read it? Statements like "Jesus wept"?

You can be as "spiritual" as you want to claim but if you don't know the Truth of God as given you in human language by God, even the unbelievers out there are better off.

The very same Jesus Christ taught you, using various parables too, to use the understanding you have so that more understanding can be given you. Why would Jesus Christ teach us to use the comprehension we have if all we need is His Spirit to "interpret" it all for us anew?

Before we run around with this funny tale that Prophet T B Joshua was a good man because we watch his philanthropic jabs on television, and harass those who refused to accept him as a good man, there are at least two questions we must ask:
1, How did TB Joshua make the money he is using for the said philanthropy? Yes, were and how did he get the money?

You see, as much as we hate to discuss this part, it is tellingly crucial and morally unavoidable. We cannot cheer him up for allegedly helping the so called poor masses without asking how he got the money.

2, in making both the money and fame for on which the 'philanthropy' is built, are there victims? Was anyone climbed upon? Was anyone hurt? Was anyone fooled into parting with their money of which they wouldn't have parted with if they were not fooled? Was there ever a lie told to people to get the funds for the philanthropy?
In the build up to his game both as a preacher and magician, was any life lost to his ego? That is, are there people who refused medical treatment because Mr Joshua told them he could heal them, got money from them only for them to die hoping for his healing??

I so much agree with Chinua Achebe who in Anthills of The Savannah insisted that charity is the opium of the privileged and that while we drop our loose coins from safe heights to some Lazarus in the street, we must never forget that real charity lies in working towards a society were such charity itself will no longer be necessary.

My problem is my lack of emotions and sentiments these days. If I had not known the source of Mr Joshua's wealth, I would have been among those running around with the good man tale.

It is barely three years since Mr Joshua's greed, ego and disregard for law, order and honesty cost the lives of over a hundred miracle seeking people. Up till now, Mr Joshua refused to take responsibility and apologize. He kept shifting blames in protection of his dishonest miracle racket and ego.

Once more, how are we to call a man who made his money by performing dishonest tricks, faking miracles and lying for a living good man?
As in Robin Hood is a role model?

Who invented the title "God's General". The most eminent tools in God's hands called themselves "Servants". From where did we get this strange title?

It turns out that the only General in God's army is Christ our Savior who is the Captain of our salvation.

These men of goat with their drunk visions can tire somebody. It reminds me of my pastor friend who told me out of the blue to pray for my father, saying he dreamed that the man died. I asked if he ever saw my father in real life before and he said no. I further questioned how he knew it was the man. He flimsily told me he had a strong premonition which drew my energy his way. I told him to tell his god or whichever demon to Bleep himself — that was it. Almost ten years since then and my father is still living healthy despite his many bad habits. Religious scammers can never catch me mugu in this life. Me and my parents have lived long enough. If we go then we lived well. Why should I fear any death other than a painful one?

Jesus Christ warned you against following and listening to these men who are false Teacher and prophets... if praying for their salvation is what Jesus Christ wanted to you, He would have done that even as He castigated the Pharisees and other false Teacher and prophets of His time. But we know instead that He preached and warned against them..

The one who judged and condemned them is Jesus Christ and it is all written of right there in the Gospels for you to learn from. Jesus Christ also condemned those who will follow these false Teachers and prophets to falling into the same ditch that their masters do...be sure that the Truth of God never fails.
