Truth.

An elderly Igbo friend told me that it is difficult to lie using your native dialect. That when people want to lie, they speak English. grin

He was probably kidnapped and released after ransom was paid.

The ritual part was added for exaggeration purpose.

Thank God I am Alive, A rejoinder.

I refer to my previous write - up titled : 'Thank God I Am Alive...' published on 4th, June 2021 on same medium and wish to clarify that it is merely a work of fiction, a literary expression and an excerpt from a feature film screenplay I am working on.

For those who actually read it in full, you would notice the credit at the end for the excerpt synonymous with creative work.

For some reason, it may have crossed the line between creativity and realism and misconstrued to be true.

I appreciate your concerns and wish to state that it wasn't meant to alarm anyone , but just to express a creative process.

Thank you for your calls, messages and be rest assured I am 100% okay.

Expect the movie soon.

God bless you all.

Nigeria is a dangerous place.

You need to be spiritually strong to survive in this country.

If it is God you know, hold him strong, so that when you call him at anytime he will answer you speedily.

If it is occult and juju, hold it very strongly and ensure it is potent enough not to fail you at any time.

And Nairaland posted it to front page something he has said is for a script.

You are very correct as it a was a joke carried too far. It was a movie set, and I must say, such should not have come public considering the situation Nigeria is now. He should pray he will not find in himself in such situation, because nobody will take him serious.

Thank goodness for saving you. But this your story seem scripted. Is it a book you're trying to write or what? You just escaped death from ritualists, you ought to be traumatized till this moment, I'm 'shocked' you can still compose a story like with so much big grammatical descriptions. See the way he described the house, James Hardley Chase way.

Anyways, get well soon sir

Ransom and ritual goes hand in hand.

I watched the chilling story of a woman on Twitter.
Her face was swollen and sore.

She was beaten black and blue by kidnappers and would have been butchered for parts, if her family did not pay ransoms.

She said other girls that were kidnapped with her and could not pay ransom were slaughtered and sold as parts .

This story sounds like the next Bollywood movie to be released soon, well what do I know about acting and script writing. Until the Rivers state Police PPRO, Nnamdi Omoni confirm this story,my fingers are crossed!

I'm not bashing his story but I'm just a little surprised bloggers didn't break this news first. Also, the Rivers State Police is yet to make a statement on such a huge case and none of the kidnappers nor the rescued have been shown to the world. I don't know man, I just don't know.
