If you look at IGR vis a vis the infrastructures in place. Lagos has performed Abysmally since 1999. Lagos has not really utilized up to 20% it's advantage as the former capital from colonial era and military era, if Jakande, Otedola and Mobolaji Johnson had 0.05% of what the governors from Tinubu era have received. Lagos would rival places like Johannesburg, Casablanca, Cairo, Nairobi etc. right now it is a shame that Lagos cannot rival Accra or Lome it is an insult to Kigali to even compare them with Lagos at the moment.

The issue is not the debt, but turning it to proper investments for the citizenry. Lagos state debt profile has never been used for the good of the citizenry rather it is used to satisfy the appetite of the guy at bourdilon and his cronies.
