It's not. There's no where in the bible that actually shuns Christians from drinking alcohol. It does how ever, talks specifically against getting intoxicated which is understandable. Furthermore we know Jesus Christ observed as a Jew observed the Passover, which as a tradition involved drinking wine and afaik wines then were all alcoholic, so we can assume Jesus Christ drank alcohol at least once a year.

Assumption means you're not even sure and certain of what you're saying. It's better to stay away from what you don't know or avoid the place that is controversial if you don't have the knowledge of it.

As you assume Jesus drank it at least once in a year.....why did God not give it to His children in their 40 year Exodus.....confirm below verse


Deut.29.6 - You have not eaten [grain] bread, nor have you drunk wine or strong drink, that you might recognize and know [your dependence on Him Who is saying], I am the Lord your God.

1. Reading through Isaiah 5 vs 1 - 25 , you realize that God is not there condemning drinking of alcohol itself or the throwing of parties, the use of harps, and other musical instruments but instead condemning those who refuse to obey His commandments as He reveals in Isaiah 5 vs 24.

2. As to your mention of Deuteronomy 29 vs 6, are we also to assume- this following your conclusion from that verse that wine is sin - that bread(which is made from grains mind you) is also sin?

3. God's Law is the standard were sin is concerned. So when God does not declare it a sin, in His Law, it means it isn't a sin. Since Jesus Christ did not declare Alcohol or the washing of hair a sin, it means alcohol is not sin, neither is the washing of your hair.
