Boye33: It's 2k5, from Lagos to Ibadan, and from Ibadan to Lagos. I don't know if things have changed now. I took it last in February. It takes about 2hrs30 minutes |

okotv: It's definitely a much better way to travel...more conducive and you can plan, because you know the exact time you reach your destination, not like Lagos-Ibadan road travel, that you can spend 2 hours one day, and the next day soend 6-7 hours on the same road. I just wish it was more than one trip a day. |

Xscape047:That's because local production isn't enough to satisfy the high demand of the product in the market, imported rice helped in the past to saturate the market and controlled the prices cos you will always have varieties at more cheaper rates. The only way to solve the problem of rice is for the government to allow importation, once bags of rice from cotonu hit the markets at the rate of 6k per bag, local dealers will have no option than to reduce theirs since people will opt for foreign any day anytime thereby elimatimg the scarcity and high cost. 4 Likes |

Re: Dapo Abiodun: New Lagos-Ibadan Rail Line Fits Our Transportation Master Plan by okotv(m): 11:39am On Jun 10, 2021 |
Ugandatales:After the commissioning today, the train is expected to make 8 trips that is 16 to and fro daily between Lagos and Ibadan. More station stops would be added and the speed increased to cater for more stops. I do not know if all these would start today or tomorrow but we are all waiting for the updated travel time from the NRC. 1 Like |

ogododo: The governor is taking the abandoned projects of Amosun one by one and finishing them. Of course, if na say money dey wella maybe he would have done everything at once. Too many bad roads left by the previous administration. As for the rail passing Berger instead of Agege, bros, people plenty for the path it is now more than Arepo side o.
