Gireiboy:If real history would have been taught in Nigerian schools we wouldnt have elected coupists like Obasanjo and Buhari into office nor named roads after Babangida and Abacha. It is a shame that this is the absurd reality we are living in. |

Gireiboy:Your total lack of education and your arrogance and ethnocentrism and misplaced pride are a dangerous combination. In nigeria you people do not know the meaning of the word "history", fact. Actually your entire educational system is in the stone age, but in history it is even worse than that. Intelligence is not a skin color. If you want to learn for real, then you should go to south africa or egypt or a first world country. I love japan for one thing: although they are extremely proud people, when they were threatened by American warships, they recognised their system of knowledge was no match, they then applied themselves and mastered science, then they could compete with america and european countries, they were even a major player in ww2 and if not for Hiroshima and Nagasaki, they might have defeated the usa. They even defeated Russia before ww1. |

Gireiboy:Specialised maths speaks to specialised public which is not really existent in nigeria. One of the reasons most scientists don't get a lot of money from the sale of the books they publish is that only a few people in this world can actually read them. Their buyers are mostly university libraries and research labs. |

Gireiboy:From people who witnessed our ancestors and were literate. Their skin colour is irrelevant. They died several hundred years ago but their testimony is still alive today through their written accounts. This is what we call history. |

Gireiboy:So now you've turned into a psychiatrist ? It took you only two hours to get that PhD ? Amazing. Talking to uneducated nigerians like yourself is often incredibly annoying, you guys seem immune to learning, you have some sort of mental blockage. |
| Re: Battle Field Discussion (picture/video) Of African Military . by Nobody: 11:38pm On Jun 11, 2021 |
Gireiboy:Accounts written by eyewitnesses are what the general public calls history, your mental blockage won't allow you to learn. You love your myths so much. When reality goes against the beliefs of a nigerian like you, the nigerian denies reality instead of adjusting his beliefs to fit with reality. It's the same reason boko haram believes the earth is flat and would kill you for opposing that. This is why the elites in nigeria send their kids to the same schools I went to. |

Curriculum Vitae and Service Profile of Nigeria's new Chief of Army Staff (COAS). A must watch for military, security & defence intellengstia. Nigeria does have without doubt most of Africa's best trained and qualified military officers. Definitely arguably the best. The only strategic posting I see missing there in the current CT/COIN dynamics is as commander MNJTF, N'djamena, Chad. But every strategic level course and posting required for this level of command in the Nigerian Army or military generally Major General Yahaya has met them and that at a young age. An impressive feat. I mean this guy served in the thick of battle in Liberia in the 90's and also in the fearsome Timbuktu Triangle up north. He has served in staff, instructional and command posts and also under the able current CDS General Leo Irabor. We might just give the president the benefit of the doubt whilst working to find jobs and postings for his seniors in military service. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIysVCgVLTY |

Excellent video and reporting by ARISE NEWS on the launch of the new Nigerian Navy LANDING SHIP TANK LST 100. What a good defense reporter can do. Ferdinand did a very good job. Arise News can be our own global network they very much are looking like it more and more. Channels Television can borrow a cue. T'is not only just so beautiful but a strategic military and power projection asset for the Navy. Things like this breed national pride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvYZbKq2WDw |

Suspected bandits have killed at least 51 people in attacks on five communities in Zurmi local government area of Zamfara State. The communities include Kadawa, Kwata, Maduba, Ganda Samu, Saulawa and Askawa. Hundreds of residents have been displaced by the attacks, with many of them, including women and children taking shelter in Dauran and Zurmi towns. Residents said several motorbike riding gangs of armed men stormed the communities firing at people. The Nigerian troops have captured a notorious ISWAP Informant who leaked information on the movement of security personnel and commuters to terrorists. An intelligence officer told PRNigeria that the suspect, known as Goni Fandam, had been in the radar of security services since last year before he was eventually nabbed while spying on the location of troops in Borno. The source said: “After intercepting his several communication with Senior ISWAP Commanders, the troops traced him to a hideout in Mainok axis. “He was part of dozens of informants on monthly remuneration of N250,000 just for providing the terrorist group with information on military posts and movements. “In addition, he provided terrorists with information on travellers between Jakana and Auno as well as between Maiduguri and Damaturu PRNigeria learnt that the troops were led by one Major DY Chiwar in the arrest of the Informant. https://prnigeria.com/2021/06/11/military-nabs-iswap-informant/?amp&__twitter_impression=true |
