You are a self-effaced ethnocentric bigot and the evidence speaks for itself. You might add I.diot to that. Don't quote me again except you have something akin to intellectual quotient.

As it is you don't. Besides you couldn't have been reading my mention and make such myopic, cynical and uninformed submission.

You just want to be heard. Sorry not here.
The usual temper tantrums and repetations from a broken mind. You really have nothing to say.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

I'm sure only a broken mind distorts facts and I don't. Not to worry I'm good, very good.

But let me help you somewhat assuming you are won't to, stop speaking in condescending manner to people here. True not everybody is of same educational level and social status but being here speaks a lot about them. Some want to learn, others want to contribute and yes others want to be an outright a.s.sh.ol.e but it might just be being here helps them let off steam especially if they have no girlfriend you see, or wife, it just could be anything.

Lastly though not the least having jumped and passed you many times is that what you think you have there are many others who have it and even better and yet make no noise about it. That way they create new opportunities to be even better. There are real professionals here I mean soldiers and other disciplines and maybe even spooks who can go to more countries on multiple passports on a whim and might be watching you too. Learn to hide in public.

So take it easy. Drink water. Relax and live.

About Buhari whether I like him or not is a personal choice. I don't like his political and economic policies and my missive has been clear on that passionately for years but there are those who like him for whatever reasons and it is civil to respect that. The most we can do is to have an intellectual conversation and somehow make them see the light and many have and many haven't, rather stuck to their guns so what do we do - it's called democracy.

In two years time we have a chance if we do the right things to have a true national leader.

Buhari isn't a national leader and all the problems we have right now with agitations can be traced right back to him because of his fulanisation of most strategic postings.

Now has he eaten our money for weapons and some infrastructural development? no he hasn't and the evidence speaks for itself.

Did they eat some of it? Maybe some of it but certainly not all of it. We can see the evidence.

Was that the case with GEJ and the PDP? No! You may disagree but rather we have evidence they stole brazenly in broad day light money meant for weapons and equipment. We all know that and because you are his kinsman shouldnt make you deny the facts. It speaks a whole lot of who you are and that's up to you.

Tribalism has eaten deep into the Nigerian society.
It is evident in this thread.
Am only surprised because I never thought this thread can turn to the average thread u find in the FrontPage.
Even a self claimed police officer ain't scared to show her true colour on a public forum.
Some of us only comment on this thread because we think it is full of intellect but things are changing pretty quick.

It has always been like that in Nigeris wether online or offline....its the mumu southerners that are always trying hard to live with those who consider them as slaves but gradually their eyes is now opening by actions and inaction of the president who himself called some people 5% and dot in a circle and threatening to kill them in an industrial scale....!!

When all you ogas come comot nko? I swear all of you no to do well oo. The gap you left is being filled by sick people who have nowhere to express their frustration other than public faceless fora.
Some are destined to build great things, others are only destined to destroy things and some become very successful at that at times.

I wonder whether things will return to normal after the presumed object of their frustration leaves by 2023.

The way of the nigerian is to live in denial and to pretend. These guys want you to pretend buhari is not a bigott. They want you to join them in their delusion. I can't be part of a collective hallucination. I shall speak the truth, no matter whose weird ego it hurts.
nigeria needs to be divided, because the people are not ready to live as one, if they were, everybody would be fighting buhari, not just those buhari is marginalising. If the people were ready, presidential elections would not be a war with reinforcement being brought from niger republic and from primary school to boost northern numbers.
If the people were ready, all these killings and their onesided responses wouldn't be happening.

Your average Nigerian soldier or your average asslicker of the Nigerian Army, is an admirer the fulani hegemony.
Truthshots23:
the likes of you are always quick to make unfounded accusations, I am opposing bigottery, not operating bigottery. I sm not going to self mute in order to look "neutral" when a northern fulani president is operating full bigottery. Not opposing a bigot from an other ethnic group doesn't make you anti-tribalised, it makes you sn idiot.

Also I have been reading your comments, that is what I was talking about. You are extremely timid in criticizing buhari and extremely audacious and light with facts while criticizing buhari's predecessor.

What really strikes is that many of you guys really respect dictatorship and spit on democracy. You don't even seem to realize when you do it.

With all due respect, the Niger deltans are as useless as a people could be. They produce the oil, but they have little or nothing to show for the wealth they generate for some select few fulani elites.
The other day, Tompolo was fighting over the makeup of the nddc board. Rather than leveraging on the agitation of the ipob people in agitating for full resource control, he is fighting over nddc board makeup. such mediocrity.

Tompolo is not a leader, he is an ex pirate who leads I don't know what exactly, I don't even think he represents his ijaw people. He is only famous and it ends there.
The problem with the ipob thing is that instead of focusing on the common threat of the south, ipob and its leader chose to be hostile with other parts of the south (southsouth especially). Why exactly ? Kanu seems to be a raving mad dog biting everybody whom is not igbo and making claims everyday. All this was unfortunate, and a lot of people whom are influenced by kanu seem to have only hatred for those whom are not igbo. Even having a civil conversation was impossible with many of them.

the insecurity in nigeria is not caused by the president only, this involve the governor too. in the 36 state in nigeria governor get 4- 10billion naria as security vote depending on the state. this security vote money is meant for the state to improve the security architecture of their state but many state governor use the money to feed their pocket. let use lagos state as an example . in lafos their is no amookteun but their is police and rss .the RSS unit are member of the police unit draw from different tactical squad in the state . this rss are unit are directlyb under the control of the lagos government and in supervision of the the state commissioner of police. this unit are well trained by the nigeria army, the move with stander ak 47, the equipment use by the RSS are provided by the state government, ranging from bulletpoof, helmet, ak 47, vehicle apc. are provide by the state government. this unit can be sent to any troubled area by the state government to fight crime. the welfare of this unit are being provided by the state government. lagos is not safe to the fullest but you can give the state a pass mark of 80 %. this the same security vote money give to other state government, what stop this state government to draw tactical unit in their state to form rss or other system. after river was attacked governor wike relaunch c4i to defend the state. but some state government will wait for the president to send solider to every cultist and armed robbery crime in the state what are their doing with the security vote money?

To prorect fulani being killed or driven out in the southeast, nobody was saying the state government should take charge, the army was sent in.
But to protect people being killed by fulani herdsmen in the south and middle belt, out of a sudden there is no army, it is the responsibility of the states...the states make a law to ban open grazing on their land to protect their people, then you have buhari and his northern appointees and northern elite kicking against, asking the south to donate land and food to fulani as if they were vikings.

I won't be diving into the unverifiable and out of context claims above, I prefer fact based talks.

The NIMASA deep blue project is commendable. It wouldn't be complete without tackling destructive fishing trawlers from around the world especially the Chinese! They move switching off their transponders and cart away metric tons of fishes from our EEZ.

No brainer some of these pirates were likely former fishermen who picked up arms after losing their livelihood.

The incident started after we got news of armed herdsmen in out bushes, the youths organized to put up resistance while we wait for backup. What happened next as quoted below

"The soldiers came in their numbers to arrest innocent youths but the youths blocked all the exit routes with heavy logs of tree at several places, preventing the military men from leaving, then, Unknown gunmen speedily arrived at the scene and engaged soldiers in hot gun duel killing about 10 soldiers at the time. When re-enforcement team of soldiers from Ohafia military barracks enter the scene unknown gunmen have already separated into two, the other group engaged the re-enforcement team neutralizing about 8 soldiers making it 18. Then soldiers retreated."

Nigerian Army sensing they have lost 18 men of maybe 30 men sent, with more unknown gunmen arriving from all angles of the bushes, retreated and took off. Eyewitness believe the unknown gunmen captured 5 soldiers alive and whisked them away.

Everyone seems to be dropping propaganda bro,if ipob truly captured any soldier,it is big PR,they would have shared the pictures. Nobody has a monopoly of violence but you can fight the government and expect victory like that, look at Tigray and syria. Don't be deceived, the Nigerian army is doing a lot of damages in the southeast right now and it is really under-reported,forget all these "dem say dem say",let's call them out online and on twitter, the world must see and hear.

Forget all this talk. The NPF is under the control of the FG.

Go check wetin happen between Mbu and Amechi. There is also RRS, OP MESA, OP AWATSE, JTF etc in other southern states.

Just try to give state police a chance in a state like Benue and watch Fulani heardsmen be exterminated in that state grin

Soldiers went to a community in Ogun state, to flog the people of a community in that state because they chased fulanis herdsmen out of their community.

Governor fit dey talk A, make IGP dey do B

Infact

Governor fit dey talk B, make commissioner of police dey tell am is not possible to do so because the IGP no agree with such a solution. Any commissioner of police in a state wey go against the instruction of the IGP will be changed immediately and the governor no fit do anything about am.

At least 936 students of secondary and tertiary institutions were abducted by suspected bandits and Boko Haram members across the country between December 2020 and June 5, 2021.

Findings by our correspondents showed that abductions were carried out across the country.

During the period under review, abductions were recorded in Ohordua, Edo State; Effurun, Delta State; Kankara, Kaduna State; and Mahuta village, Katsina State.

Other places where cases of abduction were recorded are Kagara, Niger State; Jangebe, Zamfara State; and Afaka, Kaduna State, among others.

Some parents who spoke to our correspondents said they would not allow their children return to school.

One of them, Alhaji Ibrahim Bageba, whose children were among the kidnapped Jangebe schoolgirls, said, “I have decided to withdraw my children from school because of the security situation in the whole country.

“Our children are no longer at ease due to rampant cases of student abduction across the country and as such, I feel that it is better to withdraw my children so that I will have peace of mind.”

A mother of two of the students who were abducted by bandits during the Jangebe School abduction, Hafsat Sani, said, “Many parents are skeptical about the government’s readiness to fight banditry. As such, I don’t think my children will return to school.

“Two of my children were kidnapped; I will not allow them go back unless something tangible is done.”

The Director of Press, Ministry of Education, Bem Goong, told The PUNCH that the Federal Government was working hard to ensure that schools were safe.

He urged state governments to also do the same.

Goong said, “If you go to our unity schools, you will notice the presence of security operatives. During the 2021 Common Entrance Examination monitoring exercise, the permanent secretary also added that unity schools are the safest and it is because we have deployed security operatives there.”

The Zamfara State Government said it would close down boarding schools till security situation improved in the state.

The state Commissioner for Education, Aliyu Tukur, said, “A committee has been constituted to look into the possibility of reopening the boarding schools that are not prone to attacks by bandits. We have deployed security operatives in schools that are open and we have organised workshops for school principals.”

A security expert, Nnamdi Chife, called on the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), to resuscitate the Safe School Initiative.

Chife said, “The government of President Jonathan designed a security strategy called Safe School Initiative, which was meant to provide comprehensive security for the schools that were under attack by the Boko Haram.

“It is high time for this administration to resuscitate that security programme to provide safe corridor for students. Otherwise, we may lose a generation.”

Another expert, Olalekan Ojo, said, “School abduction is becoming worrisome and some of us have been calling for a national security summit on this issue. A national security summit will involve school owners, security experts and other stakeholders.”

Ojo said if nothing urgent was done, the number of out-of-school children in the country could increase to about 30 per cent of the student population.

Seven Soldiers Killed In Clash With Unknown Gunmen In Abia Community, Houses Burnt

Soldiers of 14 Brigade, Army Headquarters, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks, who invaded Ohafia in the Ohafia Local Government of Abia State in search of gunmen suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), have burnt down several houses in the area.

A source who spoke with SaharaReporters on Sunday said a lot of residents and indigenes of Elu, Amangwu, Ebem and Ohafia fled their communities to neighbouring villages due to the constant invasion.

Seven soldiers have now lost their lives in the attack, the source said.

According to him, some unknown gunmen were passing through the Amangwu village when soldiers from the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks launched an attack.

He stated that in the counter-attack, two soldiers got injured while the unknown gunmen fled.

Infuriated, a mass of soldiers from the barracks invaded the town, shooting at people, and burning down houses.

Provoked, residents and indigenes who could no longer bear the constant attacks, shot back and this has led to the death of seven soldiers.

The source said, “Some unknown gunmen, we don't know who they are or where they are coming from, they were passing through Amangwu and they were confronted by soldiers from the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks. Two of the soldiers later got injured and were rushed to the hospital.

“But the soldiers went to regroup and came back en masse. They started harassing people in the community, most especially young men. They arrested a lot of young men, they took them to the barracks.

“They also come from time to time to shoot at people, I mean direct shooting so the people had to retaliate. At first, three soldiers died, then four of them died yesterday, making seven. The other two that were attacked by the gunmen were not even killed, they got injured.

“We don't know why the soldiers keep invading Amangwu, the gunmen are not from here, they just passed through this place. Soldiers should leave Amangwu and its people alone.”

He also stated that a lot of houses in the Amangwu Ohafia community had been burnt.

The soldiers had claimed that members of the ESN were using the houses as their hideout.

http://saharareporters.com/2021/06/13/seven-soldiers-killed-clash-unknown-gunmen-abia-community-houses-burnt

Nigeria security agencies are to be partly blamed for some of the insecurity issue we have in Nigeria. They act as if they do not have an intelligence department. If they believe the community is harbouring UGM, why can't they go after the people they feel are part of harbouring UGM. Arrest the Eze, Chiefs and other important people in the community after getting an arrest warrant from the court.

They can even attack UGM in the community during UGM meeting.

Well sha, I think it was during Ihejirika that the GEJ barracks was constructed, or rehabilitated, I can still remember how happy the people of the community and it was located and the communities around it were happy when it was been commission
